We’ve stayed in a lot of holiday homes and this one was one of the best. It’s ideal for a large group of people with the 6 bedrooms and huge living area and kitchen. Really well appointed with everything you need, the relaxing environment & friendly Kookaburra make this a must place to stay. Great water front area to for a bit of sun baking everyone had a fantastic time.

We had a lovely stay at Daggers Den. We had a group of 10 adult women come for a relaxed weekend away and it was ideal for us. The balcony overlooks the river with beautiful views and lots of wildlife to see. Extra facilities such as two showers and two fridges were handy for big groups. We also enjoyed the activities such as a pool table and board games at the house. We did have one issue, which was the listing had a different number of beds to when we arrived. The listing has since been updated and we were provided a partial refund by Stayz which we are happy with.

Great place to stay

Beautiful river frontage and large open plan shack to suit large group. Well equipped with all you need. Nice riverbank to sit around and easy river access for boats and watersports. Definitely recommended. Kids had a ball and were never bored.

Great stay, great amenities and good communication. The aircon not working was really inconvenient and uncomfortable but it was over 40degrees.

We loved our stay here. The house was perfect for our two families with plenty of space, and the balcony was a beautiful spot to relax morning and night. The scenery was absolutely stunning, with mornings watching kangaroos and evenings enjoying visits from the kookaburras, along with great access to the river. The only small drawback was the outdoor area. Unlike the surrounding properties with lush green grass, this property’s yard wasn’t maintained and was just dirt from the house to the river, which meant the kids couldn’t run around and play outside as we’d hoped. That said, it didn’t take away from what was otherwise a wonderful stay that we all loved.

Overall ok but couple of issues

Overall it was beautiful place to stay. It had everything for a Great holiday, for all ages, updated and modern for large family gatherings/ holidays. It was a Beautiful and Amazing part of the river murray. Overall the property was clean. Unfortunately the Bedding and provided Linen was Visably Unhygienic. But on notification of the issue, the Hosts were reasonable and easy to deal with. Nice arrival package for the guests. We would recomend .

Perfect family retreat right on the Murray River

Our family and friends absolutely loved Daggers Den. Option of 6 bedrooms to accomodate everyone was exactly what we were looking for on our trip to the Riverland. The downstairs games room, fire pit & riverfront fishing were a hit with the kids (big & small). Great entertaining areas inside and out. Communication with the hosts right from the beginning was excellent. Highly recommend Daggers Den as a place for family groups to relax & enjoy the amazing surroundings.

Great location and property

The perfect place for teens to hang out. Straight out on the river, cycle to Morgan and the space they need, and their parents need to relax. We had a great time and would not hesitate to return or recommend

Idyllic

What a fabulous property for a family get together ( in our case 10 adults and two teenagers). We had room to move and with the river on our doorstep we had plenty of options - even the kids weren't bored. The games room kept us entertained at night time with a few battles of table tennis and darts happening. The beds were comfy, the living area spacious - not that we spent much time inside during the day - the river was too inviting with the scenery, the fishing and the water sport. The kookaburras greeted us each morning and if we were up early enough we got to see the kangaroos. Didn't want to leave and all the kids agree we will be back.
