Hokona House - Alice Lodging

With looks like an architectural magazine cover, yet also cozy and comfortable, Hokona House is very tastefully put together, with upscale modern brand choices throughout, and feels more like your own private Palm Springs pied-à-terre than a vacation rental home.
Tucked away on a quiet neighborhood street, yet very close to lots of hot spots, this 3-bedroom 3 bath bungalow has everything you could want for your long weekend or seasonal getaway. With the bedrooms situated at opposite corners of the house, you could even decide to share it with others without getting in each other’s way.
Finding your way through the lush yet desert friendly landscaping in the front courtyard, you enter the house and will immediately leave the stresses of your everyday life behind. The living room, with sectional sofa and fireplace, and the fully equipped kitchen and dining area divide the house for added privacy. On the west side are two comfortable guest bedrooms that share a Jack and Jill style bathroom between them. One of these bedrooms has a queen size bed, and the other has a king bed and direct access to the back patio and swimming pool.
On the east side of the house, you’ll find the spacious primary bedroom with its king bed, writing desk and en suite bathroom, and access to the pool patio. Also at this end of the house is a small private gym with a Peloton Tread and other professional equipment to help work off last night’s martinis.
Outside you’ll really enjoy the covered patio and sparkling blue swimming pool, surrounded by privacy hedges and lush landscaping, providing an almost tropical feeling. The entire pool area is furnished with plenty of stylish lounge and dining seating. For your convenience, a third bathroom with sink and toilet, and an outdoor shower are also on the pool deck. And there’s a patio kitchen and bar for preparing meals al fresco, that includes a natural gas grill, beverage refrigerator and sink. On the other side of the house, outside the gym, is a private hot tub.
Hokona House is a very short walk to some of the most popular restaurants, bars and resorts in the Coachella Valley, including MICHELIN-recommended Bar Cecil, Mr. Lyons Steakhouse and Ace Hotel, or a little longer walk to all the excitement that downtown Palm Springs has to offer just to the North. Feel free to park the car in the driveway and forget about it.

• No parties or events of any kind allowed on property
• No more than 3 cars at the house at any time
• Must be 25 years of age or older to rent. Registered person must stay in the home throughout the reservation.
• No smoking
• Check-in time is 4 PM
• Check-out time is 10 AM
No music or sound from sound-producing devices (TV's, Cell Phones, Radios, etc.) are permitted outside the home per local ordinance. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 10am.
Per the City of Palm Springs, all adult guests (18 years and older) are required to read and provide written acknowledgment the Palm Springs Good Neighbor Brochure prior to gaining access to the rental property. A copy of these policies will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. The primary guest is also required to provide details for all vehicles of guests staying at the property.
Pool and Spa Heating- ADDON
Optional pool and spa heating is available for an additional $80 per night. We recommend adding this service between October and May to ensure the water temperature is comfortable during your stay. If you would like to include pool heat, please notify us at least 72 hours prior to your arrival, as some pools may require up to 48 hours to reach the desired temperature of 86 degrees.
Monthly Stays – Utility Deposit
For stays of 28 nights or more, a utility deposit of $1,500 per month is required. This includes a monthly gas and electric usage allowance of $200. Any charges exceeding this amount will be deducted from the deposit. The remaining balance, if any, will be refunded following check-out based on actual usage.
Local regulations also require that the property manager meets you within 24 hours of your arrival to verify your identity and review local ordinances. We will reach out after booking to assist in scheduling a virtual check-in.
