The property worked out well for our very short stay in the area with just the right amount of space, and a nicely organized house. Only issue we had was that we had gotten the impression from the description that you could walk along the dock behind the house to get to the lake, but you clearly could not (unless we somehow missed how to get there).

Thank you for staying at Lake Escape Cottage and for your helpful review. I am glad the space and organization worked for your short stay. Thanks for pointing out the dock access impression. We will look into clarifying the listing and providing clearer directions to the lake so future guests are not confused.

We were so satisfied with the cottage, especially appreciated having a recliner for me to sleep in. The home was clean and decor inviting. It was easy to find and one of our group is a first timer! The rooms were well appointed and the beds comfortable. The entry door was a bit difficult to open, and we received the help quickly to find information to give us solution to the issue. Thank you for allowing us to come, do hope to be in area again!

I am sorry you had difficulty getting the access code, could not access the advertised garage, and did not receive a response when you asked for access. I am glad the place was overall clean and nice. We will look into the access code delivery, garage availability and our response process to prevent this in the future. This location was great with water access through the canal. Outdoor area is fantastic for any kind of family activities. House was clean and kitchen was very well stocked. Not much more to ask for in a rental on a lake.
