Beautiful scenery, nicely updated, easy to get to. But it wasnt an easy stay. I know the dishwasher being broken wasn't their fault, they did tell us a head of time. But we still had to buy disposable coffee cups. And still had to was dishes from what we did use. I found moldy utensils and oven mits. Yes they did replace them that day, but we still couldn't find the where the wet musty smell was coming from. We ended up buying extra paper towels, toilet paper and a sponge because extra wasn't provided. I needed the kitchen to finish the cake order i was doing for the retirement we were in town for and so dishwasher made it hard and to cook meals for us was a bummer. Even if we weren't using paper plates, there still wasn't enough plates, cups, bowls, etc for 6 people to use. There was a washer and a dryer but, no washing detergent. If I would of known in advance that we needed to provide our own, I would have been more prepared. I just feel if a hotel provides extra toilet paper, etc, so should a place like this. I can't tell you how many times we ran to the store because there just wasn't. The "bunk".... the top bunk is totally doable, but the futon below , no one could sleep on. The backyard and deck were beautiful, but lawn wasn't mowed so we couldn't be outside to enjoy it.Would we give this place a chance again, yes. But I would definitely be more prepared.
