Logan Street Urban Refuge - Private Carriage House

Enjoy the comfort of our fully-equipped carriage house (2nd story) private apartment with separate entrance in historic Speer neighborhood. Excellent walk-ability (5 minutes) to local bars, coffee shops, restaurants and public transportation. Free street parking. 1.5 miles from State Capitol , Denver Convention Center, Pepsi Center, Denver Art Museum and the Denver Performing Arts Center.

In the spirit of keeping travel affordable we have not raised our prices in over two years - even though our operating costs have increased. We’ll never ask you to strip beds, do the laundry, or take out the trash. We pay a generous living wage to our housekeeper and professionally clean the laundry. We only ask for the place to respectfully put the place back in order like you found it.

Twenty minute drive from world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater!

Located in the heart of Denver, with accessibility to nearly everything. Bike/walk on the Cherry Creek path, just a couple blocks up the street. It's surrounded by so much activity but offers a quiet respite from the outside world. You'll love the clean, warm, contemporary style on the inside with blackout shades in the bedroom. A full kitchen with spices and basics, if you choose to cook. But why would you want to cook when you have sports bars, fine restaurants, Sushi bars, breakfast cafes within a couple minutes walk??? We'll supply you with coffee, tea and a few other niceties.!

If you are flying into Denver, it's an easy light rail ride to Denver's Union Station. You could take a short bus ride from Union Station down to our stop (Broadway and 1st Ave) and have a 5 minute walk to the Logan Street Urban Refuge. Depending on what you plan to do in Denver, it's highly possible you wouldn't need a car. Your hosts are respectful of your privacy but are available to help you navigate the city/state if you have questions, or to talk and enjoy meeting new people. Start the dishwasher
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please do not put used linens in the washing machine. We use a laundry service to supply our clean linens.
If there are dirty dishes in the dishwasher please use a detergent tab and set it to run as you leave.
Close all windows before leaving.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
PLEASE MAKE SURE NOT TO RUN THE AC/FURNACE WHEN THE WINDOWS ARE OPEN.
SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE APARTMENT. GUESTS CAN SMOKE ON THE BALCONY. SPENT TOBACCO SHOULD BE DISPOSED IN OUTSIDE TRASHCAN.
NO PETS. THIS ALSO MEANS NO EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS. (SERVICE ANIMALS WITH DOCUMENTATION ARE ALLOWED).

Had a really good stay. The apartment was very clean and tidy and very comfortable. It's small but has everything you could need (including bathrobes, which was a nice touch!). Cindy and Daniel were great hosts, very responsive and friendly. I would definitely recommend their place.

Perfect place for exploring the city

I stayed at this property for a week. It was a great jumping off spot for all the sites in the city and beyond. It's very cozy and feels like you are in a tree house. I highly enjoyed my stay here.

Denver Anniversary trip

A great place to stay near downtown

A clean, safe, and cozy place located near downtown. It was particularly cold when I visited, but the carriage was toasty warm. The location was clean, and the directions were clear and to the point. Overall, I was very happy and would book this property again.

I can't say enough about this beautiful place! Daniel and Cindy are wonderful hosts. The carriage house has everything you need to make the stay comfortable. It was very clean and it felt like home. It is located in a safe, quiet, walkable neighborhood close to coffee shops and restaurants. Their backyard is a paradise with the plants, pond and bee hives. Cindy sent tickets for the Botanic Garden and Daniel shared honey from their bee hives. It is a convenient place to stay and explore the city.

SO Lovely

This is such a cute place to stay! It was in a really nice neighborhood that was a short Uber ride to downtown, Lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. The airline had lost our luggage...Cindy and Daniel were so helpful! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Denver!

Peaceful, beautiful, restful

The space is just as described, and has such a restful energy. Lots of staple appliances are stocked in the home, and everything is clean and organized. The gorgeous water feature can be heard through the open windows, adding extra peaceful background sound while you enjoy complementary coffee. Cindy and Daniel are helpful but respectful of space. 10/10 recommend!

Peaceful Oasis in Denver

My son and I decided to book a last minute trip and found Logan Street and booked it immediately. Cindy and Daniel were the loveliest hosts and their property and location were just beautiful. A totally peaceful oasis with a koi pond, plants and gorgeous flowers and artistic touches, Beds were both so comfortable and we even had laundry. Daniel and Cindy were available for questions about where to eat and what to do, LOVED the Denver Botanical Gardens and Waffle Guys, If we come to Denver again, this would be our first choice for lodging. LOVED it.
