About this property
Sinag Beachfront Cabin in Isla Verde, Batangas
About this space
Sinag is your solar-powered waterfront sanctuary on the cool shores of Isla Verde.
Skate by the sea, watch the sunrise and sunset from a hammock, or wind down with a movie under the stars—all with Starlink internet, if you must be connected.
Please note: this isn’t a high-end private resort, but a soulful little family cabin we’re opening to guests who want to experience authentic island living within a vibrant local community with its own pulse and pace. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
The space
Sinag features one large open cabin — perfect for sleeping on mats or sleeping bags. There is no A/C, but it’s always breezy!
The cabin fits 4 people (2 in the bedroom) comfortably, but the maximum occupancy of the property is 10 guests in consideration of the environment and proper waste management.
For 5-10 guests, there's plenty of outdoor space to pitch tents and sleep under the stars. The cabin has a rustic glamping style, offering a comfy but natural experience with lots of room to move and unwind.
Sinag sits right next to the Verde Island Passage, known globally as the “Center of the Center of Marine Biodiversity.” Just minutes from here, you’ll find some of the world’s most vibrant coral reefs and incredible marine life — perfect for diving or snorkeling.
Be sure to plan ahead or contact local dive and tour providers in advance to make the most of your stay.
Don’t forget to bring your own diving or snorkeling gear to make the most of this underwater paradise. Local gear rentals may be limited on the island.
What you’ll love about the place:
Front-row, panoramic views of both the sunrise and sunset
Mini skate ramp overlooking the water
Hammock for lazy afternoons and stargazing
Starlink Wi-Fi — perfect for remote work or streaming
Nintendo Switch & Netflix-ready TV
Paddle board for island adventures
Spacious open-plan 1-room layout for sleep camping
Bring your own tents for larger groups — space won’t be an issue for 10
Wide porch, island breeze, and steps away from the sea

Other things to note

As this is a family home, smoking is not allowed in the bedroom or bathroom. You’re welcome to smoke in the larger open areas—please do so respectfully and with consideration for others. Kindly dispose of any litter properly to prevent fire hazards.
The water on the property is mineral and deep-well sourced via a pump. Though it does wonders for the hair and skin, it is not safe for drinking—guests are advised to bring their own drinking water.

Solar-powered cabin – Please do not bring high-wattage electrical appliances like hair dryers, electric kettles, or rice cookers, as they may damage the solar system.
We’ve got you covered! Basic kitchen essentials including a rice cooker are already available for your use.
Hammock safety – Strictly max 2 people in the hammock at a time.
Respect the island — take your trash with you or dispose of it responsibly. Please do not throw any waste into the ocean under any circumstances.
No loud parties late at night — let’s keep the peace for the island and its residents.
Island life includes the occasional bug! Be prepared.

About the host
Your host
I spent most of my childhood in Isla Verde, a tiny island that shaped who I am today. Growing up by the sea taught me to slow down, stay curious, and appreciate simple joys. I love skating and finding creative ways to bring that energy wherever I go—from the island to now living in New York City. I’m excited to share that same sense of freedom and play here on the island. Hosting lets me share not just a place, but a piece of the life and experiences that made Isla Verde feel like home to me.
Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood because it’s home in the truest sense. The house is ancestral, passed down through generations, and it carries a lot of history and heart. The neighborhood is made up mostly of relatives and people I grew up with, creating a strong sense of community where everyone looks out for one another and guests can feel safe and welcome. It is located on Isla Verde itself, known for its incredible marine biodiversity and natural beauty, making it a special place for those who appreciate nature, simplicity, and authentic island life.
What makes this property unique
Unlike other islands that have become crowded tourist destinations, Isla Verde remains largely unexplored and peaceful. Life here moves at a slower pace, making it the perfect place to relax, unplug, and reconnect with nature. The island is especially unique for those who love the sea—Isla Verde is known for its incredible marine biodiversity and is a world-class destination for diving and snorkeling. It’s an ideal escape for travelers seeking quiet, simplicity, and an authentic island experience rather than busy crowds.
