We were only at the house to sleep/shower as we spent our days with nearby family. We were in town Memorial Day weekend to visit family and ride ATV/UTV through the mountains. Assuming I get my $300 deposit returned, I would give them 5 stars and likely stay again. One odd thing was that the only bathroom access was through the master bedroom and we had 5 adults in the house, but we made it work. The location was perfect for our stay.

Hi Kelly. Thank you for staying with us. I’m glad you enjoyed the trails and family. The kayaking is really a lot of fun if you visit again. We appreciate you taking such good care of our property.
I was in town for a bike race and stayed at the house with a couple friends. Overall, it was on the smaller side, but clean and exactly what we needed. The bathroom is in the master bedroom with the only access through the bedroom, which was pretty quirky and inconvenient for the other guests. Otherwise, no real complaints. It’s quaint and was really only used as a place to sleep. There is a nice deck for reading or hanging out!

Thank you for trusting us with your stay. I apologize for any inconvenience the location of the bathroom caused your group. There is a motel in town that will allow each person to have a bathroom Parkway Motel.
we planned to drive through mountains and lakes to be away for a white snowy xmas and that is exactly what we got. it snowed beautifully on xmas eve and xmas day. The cottage is neat and located in a quiet peaceful neighbourhood. easy access and exit. The hosts Kim and Tammy were wonderful and spot on and always prompt with our queries. The cottage is cozy, warm and comfortable. we enjoyed the grill and laundry was an incentive for drying wet clothes. kids enjoyed the locomotive engine and the coal carriages. The Chief Logan State park is 30 mins drive and the Kanawaha State Forest Park is about 45 mins drive and worth visiting. We had a wonderful time. WV is beautiful and serene.
Everything was well placed. Fully functional ,completely stocked with cookware an dishes. WiFi was fast. House is extremely comfortable with shaded an unshaded lounging spots outside. Washer an dryer a plus. Ample parking. Yard professionally maintained.
Really good neighbors in a super quiet neighborhood. Located with in short walk to anything you could want with Charleston a short 26 minute drive down 119.
The owner was great to work with an the lady that handles questions locally is spot on.
5 star experience dealing with professionals.
Will return next spring with my kids to ride the abundant trails found locally..

I’m Willie, and I take pride in creating spaces where guests can relax, recharge, and feel completely comfortable. Hosting allows me to share the same sense of warmth and hospitality that I value when I travel. I personally make sure every property is spotless, well-equipped, and thoughtfully maintained so you can focus on enjoying your trip. My goal is for guests to leave with great memories and want to come back again.
Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood because it truly captures small-town charm and convenience. Danville offers a friendly, peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature — the kind of place where you can slow down and unwind. Guests can enjoy nearby restaurants, local shops, and easy access to outdoor adventures like kayaking, fishing, and the Hatfield-McCoy Trail system. Everything you need is within a short drive or walk, and the locals make you feel right at home.
What makes this property unique
The home combines comfort and convenience in the heart of Danville — just minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, and outdoor attractions. It’s ideal for both short stays and extended visits, whether you’re in town for work, exploring the trails, or just relaxing. Guests love the private parking for ATVs and trailers, the cozy interior with high-speed Wi-Fi, and the thoughtful touches that make it feel like a true “home away from home.” Every detail is designed to give guests a clean, stress-free, and unforgettable stay. Hence our other properties are called “UNFORGETTABLE STAY” I take a lot of pride.
