About this property
3BR, 2BA Charming 1920s Lake Estate w hot tub & Beautiful Boat Dock. Sleeps 7
Bring your boat or enjoy the views from the land -- this gorgeous lake house has it all. Built from Cypress cut from the property, this house was home to the original settlers of the area. Fully remodeled in 2013, the 1920s charm is still present throughout. Decorated in Florida Nautical/Lodge style, the home feels comfortable and sophisticated all at the same time. There is a hot tub in the backyard available for your use with 24 hours advance notice so that we can get it ready for you. Hot tub fee is $15 per day.
The nearby Mission Inn boasts 3 beautiful restaurants, fantastic golf facilities, and a spa -- all of which is open to the public, as is a beautiful walking trail.
The house is fully furnished with a fully stocked kitchen. Three bedrooms include a master with a king bed and a master bath, and two additional bedrooms: one with a full-size bed and the other with a queen and a twin. These two bedrooms share the guest bath. The living room has a queen pull-out sofa for which linens are provided. We have a pack & play if you would like to use it (bring own crib sheet & blankets).
We do generally accept small and medium-size dogs with a nonrefundable pet fee of $200. The backyard is fenced and the front yard is not.
Our house is a wonderful place to bring children as there are peacocks that roam the neighborhood and lots of wildlife to be seen around the property. The Yalaha Bakery is in walking distance of the house and has live music on Saturdays and Sundaysfrom 11 to 2. The house is conveniently located just 10 minutes from grocery stores and restaurants.

About the host
Hosted by Christina & Brad

We are Brad and Christina. We live most of the year in Orlando and with our six children and two golden retrievers.
Why they chose this property
This house was built in the 1920s and we bought in 2013 from the family that built it. It overlooks beautiful Lake Harris and the neighborhood is peaceful and tranquil. Often on Saturdays we walk to the Yalaha Country Bakery and get lunch and listen to live music. This home has been a weekend house for our family and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
The original owners of this home were the original settlers of this area and the home has a lot of character. We've furnished it to be cozy and inviting for our family. The views from the front room over Lake Harris are amazing and we hang out in the swing by the lake while the kids play on the beach in the afternoons.
