Romantic upstairs room in a restored 1890s manor once home to a local doctor. Features a Pulaski king bed, boudoir lighting, velvet curtains, cedar-lined bath, and 70" smart TV. Enjoy your morning coffee under chandeliers and original fretwork. Relax on the wraparound porch beneath towering Blue Deodar Cedars—among the oldest this side of the Mississippi. A peaceful escape just minutes from historic downtown Abbeville.
The Majesty Room is a velvet-adorned retreat on the second floor of a 6,000 sq. ft. Victorian home on historic Main Street in Abbeville, SC. The room features a luxurious king-size bed and a 70-inch smart TV for ultimate comfort and relaxation.
Guests arrive through a grand circular drive, shaded by the oldest Deodara Cedar trees east of the Mississippi, and are welcomed by a wrap-around porch with rocking chairs and a swing. Inside, the sweeping two-story stairwell is lit by Italian porcelain and crystal chandeliers, leading to your private room.
Each guest room has its own coded entry and full private bathroom. Upstairs you’ll also find a cozy library, while downstairs you can enjoy the formal dining hall and one additional guest suite.
We offer the charm of a traditional bed-and-breakfast without the pressure of constant host interaction. Guests enjoy the independence and privacy many people crave while still having support available when needed.
You’ll receive a personalized code for the front door so you can check yourself in at any time. From there, you can head upstairs to your room, which also has its own secure coded access.
Your host is available through this app or by direct contact if you have any questions or need assistance. While we value giving our guests their space, the host is also available in person most of the time upon request.
