The Bunkhouse is one of four solid rock cottages on the grounds of the historic Silver Spur Dance Hall!

This unique property offers a peaceful getaway set atop Rugh Hill. The dancehall offers a amazing views overlooking the Medina River and the Cowboy Capital of the World, Bandera, Tx. Woven into the storied fabric of Bandera and the Texas Hill Country, the Silver Spur Dance Hall is a place of legend and lore, and once the hottest spot for a Saturday night twirl on the dance floor.

Enjoy the comfort of this cozy Bunkhouse for 2 with a queen size bed, private bath with tub, and fully equipped kitchen.

Step out and enjoy a swing under the shady live oak tree before setting out to explore the Texas Hill Country.

The Bunkhouse is located on Rugh Hill above the Medina River, allowing for a peaceful stay while being less than a mile from town for shopping, restaurants, and all the happenings.

I could not have stayed a better place, it was all they said to a tee! There, but secluded, peaceful, beautiful! The bunkhouse was great, had everything & anything one could need within reason. Communication was great. My dummy self had trouble with the lockbox & could not get in. Contacted host and received an answer & help immediately. I was in in no time. All my fault, nonetheless vey friendly & helpful folks to work with. I highly recommend this place!

The historic Silver Spur Dance Hall is set atop Mt. Rugh and overlooks the "Cowboy Capital of the World", Bandera, TX. Woven into the storied fabric of Bandera and the Texas Hill Country itself, the Silver Spur is a place of local legend and lore, and once the hottest dancehall for a Saturday night twirl around the dance floor.

Amazing sunsets provide mystical views and then give way to dark skies at night as the stars come out. There's something really special about Bandera, the Texas Hill Country, and history of the Silver Spur.

What makes this property unique

Before it was the Silver Spur Dance Hall, the floor of the dance hall was originally built as a dance patio for Mt. Rugh Courts. The courts offered stone cottages for travelers and tourists to rent for a hill country getaway, or to do some boot-scootin' on the patio.

Now, we are pleased to offer 4 of the original stone cottages of Mt. Rugh Courts for your stay while touring the Texas Hill Country and visiting the Cowboy Capital of the World, Bandera TX!
