Stop in for sashimi and yakitori at Kushi Yakitori next door or grab some takeaway at Lucky Fish to be enjoyed on the beach. Port Douglas is a 40-minute drive, with plenty of coastline to explore on the way, and Kuranda National Park is a 30-minute drive if you want to take a day trip to visit the rainforests.
