The house had a great fire pit in a fenced off backyard. The screened area was very useful for eating and relaxing. The beach nearby was perfect for the kids. The door separating the stairs was a great safety feature for the young kids. Very enjoyable stay.
The house is clean and the kitchen is very well furnished. The beach is about a 10 minute walk and there is a nice tennis and pickle ball court and playground on the way there. I would rent again

Thank you for choosing to stay at our place. We are glad to hear that you you had a pleasant stay. We appreciate your feedback and experience. And would love to have you back . You were one of our best renters yet
What a great find! If you have a large group, this place is for you! Clean, plenty of space, very comfortable beds, laundry, amazing kitchen, deck and screened porch. A great, fenced in backyard for the kids and a gorgeous canopied fire pit. The beach is a ten minute walk or, do as we did and load everything in the car. Plenty of parking. Large sandy beach, picnic tables and SHADE. Clean port-a-potties and a great swim raft. You won't be disappointed with this property!

Thank You for Your Kind Words!
Dear Karyn

It was a pleasure hosting you on VRBO, and your compliments mean so much to me—especially knowing that my home played a part in creating special memories for your family. I take great care in making it a comfortable, welcoming space, and it’s always heartwarming to know it’s appreciated.
I hope you’ll think of my home again if your travels bring you back this way. You’re always welcome!
Warmest regards,
Peter
We loved the house! It was very clean, had a great fenced in backyard which was perfect for the kids! The home had everything we needed! Peter was quick to respond to any questions we had!
This is our 2nd year at this property and it was excellent. The house has everything you need and is a great set up for our family. The beach is close and beautiful. The owner is easy to reach and very accomodating. Thank you
We had an excellent time at Peter’s beautiful home. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. The perfect get away for our family of 5 with three small children. I highly recommend ;)
We had such an amazing trip and this beautiful house was welcoming, warming, and very clean. There wasn’t anything we had to worry about for the length of our trip. There is an amazing lake just a minute down the street, basketball court out back, great deck space, good parking, nice fire pit area out back great for family time and such a perfect store at the end of the road for all your basic needs! We couldn’t have asked for a better place/area to spend our family vacation! Thank you! We will definitely be back! 5stars across the board.
This house had everything we needed for an amazing family vacation. Plenty of beds and space for the 8 of us plus had a couple of other overnight guest with beds and room for all. The beach was more than we were expecting with plenty of picnic tables and a nice shallow incline for little ones. Peter was easy to get in touch with and helpful. Highly recommend and will be back next year!!!
Very easy to communicate with Peter, the house was very clean and in a great location. An easy half mile walk to the beach every morning For coffee and a beach pass when we stayed for the day. Plenty of space at the beach and the water was shallow enough that our young kids were able to play all day without us having to be in with them. Location was also good as we did day trips to Flume, Rattlesnake Mtn etc. Plenty to do in the area and the house is spacious enough for friends or family to visit. Enjoy!!
Property was great and perfect for our family trip! Stocked with everything you need in a house! Cooking supplies, grill and laundry available! Beach down the street was great! Check on process so simple! Loved the property well maintained and updated!
Would recommend to anyone.Oneof the best properties I’ve stayed at.Exactly as portrayed on VRBO.
Immaculate, and a great place to relax and enjoy friends.
Owner very available and replied to all questions.
We stayed for 3 nights and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We had 5 adults and 3 kids and had plenty of room. The house was exactly as described and location was great. Everything was very clean which made us comfortable from the start. We enjoyed the private beach, played golf at the course next door, and enjoyed fires in the fire pit in the backyard at night. 5 out of 5 would recommend to anyone.
The house is as described. Even feels larger! The kitchen island with seating was perfect for dinner and game nights! The great room perfect for seating everyone for a movie. The rooms spacious and the bathrooms clean and well equipped.
The owner was great to contact. The house was very nice and roomy. The area was quiet and relaxing. I would recommend this house to others. Nice walking area for all ages. Very clean!

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Not entirely what we were expecting...but the house was beautiful.
The house itself was gorgeous with plenty of space and very clean. There were 6 adults and 3 children...plenty of space. Kitchen large and plenty of tvs...Nice fire pit and large deck!
Main bathroom doesn't lock which was stressful with 3 children able to walk in! The A/C was set to an extremely cold temp that couldnt be manipulated. We had to contact the owner. No beach towels or beach chairs. There were 7 or 8 bath towels, we did not bring our own so we were short.
We thought we booked a place very close to the water with a dock or launch for boat. We were not pleased with how far the beach/launch was (.4 miles) from the house. I was under the impression (after asking specifically, before booking) that the beach was close by within walking distance and if we could keep a boat out front. I was told yes. I just want people to understand that the if you have kids (we had two 3 year olds and a 5 year old with us) you need to drive to the lake! We looked into a golf cart rental but no rental places around. There is ONLY 1 parking pass for the beach, so if one person needed to leave, another person had to drop off and pray the small lot wasnt full when returned.
Owner is very nice and this house is beautiful, I was just under the impression that it was much closer to the water.

We sincerely apologize you were so dissatisfied with your stay. As owners, we strive to provide everything to make our renters most comfortable and feel at home. We were not aware about the bathroom door, so thank you for bringing it to our attention. They are brand new doors and probably need an adjustment. Nobody has ever brought it to our attention. The Nest thermostat is new and we forgot to unlock it. We can control it on the phone and like being able to do so, as we are not there to make sure at the end of rentals that the thermostat is put back to our desired temp. We had it on 68 because it had been so hot out. It was an easy fix with a phone call. Our guests have full control while staying there. As we inform all guests when booking, our house is in a lake association with private beach, approx. 1/2 mile to the beach. We are only given one car beach pass as an owner, and this pass is only needed on weekends. We mentioned there was a beach and boat launch. The launch is right near the beach. The driveway is long enough to park our 24’ boat easily. We provide 4 beach towels just in case guests forget theirs, and provide 10 bath towels for the 10 guests allowed, with guest access to a washer and dryer if needed. We had provided beach chairs previously, however they were left broken and we decided not to do this. Maybe we need to try again. We also have an old golf cart that maybe we can consider renting it separately from the home rental for guests if needed in the future-thanks for the idea. There are just so many strict rules with the golf carts in the neighborhood and it is a liability for us. Unfortunately golf carts have to be insured and registered with the association so outside rentals would maybe not have worked. We will consider renting ours in certain circumstances In the future. Again, we apologize. Thanks so much for the feedback...this will help us moving forward. We just bought the property and are new to renting so we take any feedback to heart as we want the best for our guests.
Thanks for staying and we hope you enjoy the rest of your summer.
My wife and I invited 3 other couples to join us up at the Lake for a long weekend. The house was perfect for our group and everyone had a great time. After a nice ride around the lake it was great to end a fun day by relaxing around the fire pit in the back yard. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again in the future.

Great place to enjoy time with great friends.
We absolutely loved the kitchen island! It was large enough that all 8 of us could gather to have a great time. The kids loved the bunk room. We honestly were out and about most of the time, but it was nice coming back to a great open space.

Perfect getaway in a fun Winnipesaukee community!
Our family stayed here over Labor Day weekend - and had plenty of space to spread out and the open concept was perfect for gathering around during breakfast and dinner time. The kitchen is large, well equipped with a huge island. The home was also very clean upon arrival. The upper deck was SO spacious and had plenty of room for the whole family to eat out at! We especially loved the lower screened in porch- it had a couple of different seating areas, the grill, and a quiet place to visit in the early mornings or after dinner with a class of wine! The kids loved the bunk room and the two bathrooms were newer, spacious and very clean! The home had a lot of charm and ‘lake/mountain’ touches in the decor. The
Homeowners provided all of the linens and towels which was super convenient. Having laundry on site is a plus- and there was even a little bar/bonus space on the first level that we never even used. We used the gas fireplace on one night that was particularly chilly- very cozy! The public beach was fun with volleyball and a swimming dock- we launched our boat every day and the Lake was perfect! Sundaes at Skelly’s Market were a perfect treat right up the road- and we had a visit from the ice cream boat while we were out on the lake in our boat- the kids loved that!!! We also brought our paddle boards to use along the canal nearby (lots of people kayaking). The home was the perfect setting for a long weekend with everything we needed to just enjoy our time with family and friends!

A wonderful house in a great location with responsive and considerate hosts. We highly recommend.
The house is well maintained and appeared to have been recently painted. Plenty of room to spread out with entry level screened porch, laundry and bar/family room. Main floor kitchen, living room, bath, 2 bedrooms and huge deck. Upper story master suite. Close to lake and tennis courts. We enjoyed easy access to store, restaurants, attractions such as castle-in-the-clouds, mini golf without the conjestion of more crowded tourist areas. About 30 minutes from WWII museum, Weirs beach, playhouses, etc. Overall a great experience; we are already talking about returning.

Why they chose this property
We had spent many days boating on Lake Winnipesaukee over the years. We finally decided to purchase a second home on the lake. For those not familiar with the lake, it offers incredible vacation experiences. From tiny waterfront cottages to huge summer homes of the very wealthy, it has something for everyone; train rides, outdoor movie theater at Weirs Beach, Castle in the Clouds (under 5 miles away), nice shopping and restaurants in Moultonborough, Meredith and Wolfeboro.
