Great simple, well-equipped spot near the beach

We had everything we needed here in the kitchen, laundry, and a nice perk was the board games and the smart tvs. About 6 blocks from the beach - it was walkable within 10 minutes even with a toddler.

Great stay in North Wildwood!

Just got home from a great week in North Wildwood - the house is in a quiet neighborhood but close to the boardwalk, bars, restaurants and the beach (also - this section of the beach is narrower than the epic 1/2 mile wide beach in wildwood proper, so easier to manage with little kids and all the associated toys/wagon/other nonsense). Great communication with the owner!

Great place!

We had a wonderful time at this property, it was close to the beach and a short bike ride to the boardwalk. The only improvement could be that when we stayed there was a lot of leftover stuff from other visitors - some like old shoes were kind of gross and others like shaving cream were actually helpful but it might be nice if it had a clean out more regularly! Also the grill was very greasy and grimy and we didn't end up using it because of that.

4th of July Beach Stay

House was cute, clean, and cozy. Enjoyed our stay. Liked having the front porch and having the big yard. Really close to the bar/restaurant The Surfing Pig that’s on the bay which we really enjoyed. Also walking distance to all of the North Wildwood restaurants and even the boardwalk. Beach is close but can be a little far if you’re carrying a lot of beach supplies. Sometimes we would drive up to drop off our stuff. The outdoor shower we used more to just rinse off after the beach as it’s not super private for a real shower. Place was well stocked with kitchen supplies. Overall we had a great time!

On first impression, weeds in front of the property took over 2 gardens which should have been full of flowers, weeds so high that it was hard to see off the front porch. front porch was filthy and needed to be power washed. Ants took over the kitchen, bathroom door was old and dirty, soap scum on shower glass. Could not use and area under sinks or any kitchen drawers due to the fact that they were full of dirt and trash. Out door shower unusable , full of dirt, cobwebs and weeds. Back yard table and chairs unusable due to weeds in the back yard and rusting patio set. No outdoor hose to rinse off from coming back from the beach. This property needs a lot of TLC and weeding, would not stay or recommend this property to anyone.

Hi Carol, we’re sorry your stay fell short of expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following: - The owner works with a lawn service company that comes once a week to keep the landscaping well maintained, and the weeds are maintained every 2-weeks. They also started a project to redo the front landscaping, but unfortunately, due to the pandemic and shortage of supplies, it took longer to finish. Since your stay, the new landscaping has been completed. In both front and back of the home. - The porch is also clean and well maintained. The color & style of Trex boards has a variety of colored flecks. - The owner informed you that due to the hot and humid weather, sandy soil ants may come into the property. A pest control company services the home once a month. - Under the kitchen and bathroom sink are cleaned and organized with common kitchen and bathroom supplies. The entire home, including the bathroom, is thoroughly cleaned before each guest's stay. There is no soap scum, but the water is hard and can leave marks at times. - The outdoor shower is usable and works. There is also a foot spray on the outdoor shower to rinse feet. There is a hose on the outdoor shower for guests to use to rinse off after the beach. As you mention, it's an outdoor shower, unfortunately, cobwebs may appear overnight. - There may be a few, small rust spots from the outdoor elements, but the table and chairs are functional and available for guests to use. - The backyard fence came down during a storm. The owner is in the process of repairing it, but again, Covid has caused delays with supplies. There is some shrubbery in the yard from the neighbors, but this is out of the owner's control. Once the new fence is up, this will be solved. Since your stay, the owner has worked with the neighbor in the back and the owner removed the shrubbery that belongs to the neighbor. The owner always strives to provide an enjoyable stay for all their guests, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Perfect Little House for the weekend

We loved staying at this cute little place near the beach. It was perfect for the three of us friends, though it would be cramped for three couples, especially given the one bathroom. Cozy living room with TV, kitchen with just about everything you need, and a clean bathroom. The place a couple blocks from a small grocery and a short drive (or longer walk) to the beach. We loved driving down to Cape May and the Cape May winery, and the beach at Notth Wildwood was also nice.

Great house for small family with kids.

Great house. Perfect size for a small family with children. I measured it to the beach it is 10 minute walk and half a mile. The beach on 9th street is very small compared to the large beaches in Wildwood. Plus they have porta pottys, showers and feet wash conveniently located. There is also a outdoor shower at the house which was not indicated on the web site. If you want a quite house off of the main road this is it. The owner was very nice and accommodating. My only complaint is that it was a hair on the expensive side for being that far from the beach. We rented the house Wednesday to Wednesday (3July) and that could have been a very popular week which drove up prices. I would stay there again.
