Located in the historic Butler-Tarkington neighborhood, this home was built in 2003 the newly remodeled apartment with updated furniture it is 720 sq. foot. It boosts vaulted ceilings and lots of windows located within a half block of prestigious Butler University. This lavish apartment is part of a private custom home that was built in 2003. The property has its own private entrance, private full- bath, mini- fridge, microwave and separate heating and air conditioning unit controlled only by you. Sleeps two comfortably in a queen-bed with plenty of dresser and full closet space for longer stays. Located in a prime location (10 min) between beautiful downtown Indianapolis, Mass Ave, and Broadripple. Plenty of free street parking in front of the home for added security and Butler Policy Department is located on same block. Great for parents of Butler students, weekend getaways from the kids or weekday business travelers that would like to stay in a homey atmosphere instead of a hotel. Walking distance to Historic Hinkle Field House, Clowes Hall and Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA).

Exactly how it looks in the listing. It was super clean. The bed was very comfortable. It is right on campus. The host was always in touch and ready to help out if needed. It was like staying at a nice relatives home.

Perfect Stay!

With no hotels in walking distance of Butler University, this was the perfect option for us! Paul was extremely easy to communicate with and the entire visit was flawless. I’ve stayed in many rental properties, and this one was the cleanest property I have stayed in. Paul thought of everything for a comfortable stay…all the way down to 2 umbrellas, which we needed for our Butler tour. We look forward to futures stays as our daughter will begin college here in the fall!! Just awesome!!

My birthday weekend

We came to Indianapolis to see the Indiana Fever women’s basketball team play a game. It was a great way to celebrate my birthday. We enjoyed seeing parts of the city that Paul, our host, recommended to us. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of the neighborhood we stayed in

Beautiful

This space was amazing. Even though it was a short walk to Butler campus it was quiet. I was able to relax and enjoy a weekend with my daughter without having to drive 20 min to a hotel.

Butler visit

I was here to visit my daughter at Butler. The place was clean, spacious, comfortable and the perfect location. The owner was very nice, made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I did- he had already attended to every detail in the apartment. I will definitely be back!

This place was absolutely perfect! Clean, comfortable, cozy. We arrived mid-week for a one night stay. The owner was delightful! This will be our first choice every time we visit Indianapolis. Within walking distance of the university for any potential college parents out there. I would suggest you stay here before the price goes up but when it does (because it really should) it will still be worth it!

We were passing through on our way to Branson. The apartment was wonderful. So clean and comfortable. Paul was available to answer questions but we had all the privacy of someone staying in one's own place! The location is great. Lots of nearby restaurants within a short drive and an invigorating morning walk through the Butler University campus. Highly recommend!

Perfect!

The room/apartment is beautifully appointed, spacious, and very comfortable. It is in a lovely neighborhood near campus and perfect for staying in the Butler University area. Lots of nice extra touches provided....coffee service, tea, bottled water, soaps, shampoo, and thick towels. Paul's communication was very timely and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again when we have a need in the area if it is available.

I just really enjoyed spending a week at Butler Field House. The 2 person suite is beautifully decorated, homey and safe. The neighborhood is quiet with plenty of room for parking on the street. Surprisingly, there is low to moderate traffic on the street considering the suite is in a house about a block from Butler University. The location is perfect; close to the university, downtown nightlife, points of interest, events and activities around Indy. My husband and I rented Butler Field House while visiting family. It provided privacy in a comfortable setting. Paul's thoughtful attention to details like providing water, coffee and snacks so we wouldn't have to immediately go out to buy them helped us a great deal and made us feel welcomed. We will return and be happy to recommend Butler Field House to anyone.

I stayed a full week at this property while attending a conference on the Butler University campus, and am so glad I chose it over a hotel room! It is spacious, scrupulously clean and very private. The neighborhood is charming, and since the campus police department is just down the street, it is quite safe. I was able to walk to all my events on campus without worry, even the evening ones. The host is responsive to inquiries, gracious and friendly, but not intrusive. Since the rental space is above the attached garage (with your own entry door), there is sound separation. Truly a private sanctuary. Thanks, Paul, for sharing your space with me this week!

Amazing place to stay when in Indy

Lovely updated VRBO. Always a pleasure dealing with Paul and so convenient to Butler. Highly recommend it if you have students there.
