About the host
Your host
I'm from Toronto Canada and have been living in Jerusalem with my wife and children for the last 15 + years!
I love hosting these apartments because it gives people a chance to experience an enjoyable luxury vacation with all the modern amenities near fine dining, transport and activities (which is common to many nice apartments) WITHIN one of the oldest, most historical and most spiritual locations in the world- which is EXTREMELY uncommon!

Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because it captures the very best of Jerusalem—its history, its beauty, and its energy—all in one place.
The villa sits right at the entrance to the Old City, which means you’re surrounded by centuries of heritage the moment you step outside. You can stroll to the Kotel in just a few minutes, wander through the ancient alleyways, or enjoy the lively atmosphere of Mamilla with its cafés, shops, and street performances.
What we love most is the balance:
It’s a peaceful, authentic Jerusalem street, yet everything is close and easily accessible—restaurants, transportation, markets, and major landmarks. You can explore on foot, grab a taxi right by the house, or hop on the light rail within minutes.
This neighborhood has a unique feeling you can’t find anywhere else: the quiet charm of old stone walls, the spiritual heartbeat of the Old City, and the convenience of modern Jerusalem all at once. It’s the kind of place where every walk feels meaningful, and every corner holds a piece of history.

What makes this property unique
What truly makes this property unique is its rare combination of historic character, modern luxury, and an unbeatable location in Jerusalem.
The villa is set inside a 17th-century stone building — something almost impossible to find today in private accommodations — featuring 4-meter domed ceilings, arched windows, and an authentic Jerusalem atmosphere throughout. At the same time, every space has been upgraded for full modern comfort: underfloor heating, individual A/C in each room, two fully equipped kosher kitchens, and generous living and dining areas.
One of the standout features is the private panoramic rooftop, offering open, unobstructed views of the Old City — the perfect spot for outdoor dining, morning coffee, or watching Jerusalem’s sunsets.
The property also offers exceptional convenience:
It sits right at the entrance to the Old City, just a 5-minute walk to the Kotel and under 5 minutes to Mamilla, with easy access to taxis, the light rail, and nearby parking.
And unlike many historic homes, this villa is truly family-friendly — with a kids’ loft, toys, books, a PlayStation, baby gear, highchairs, gates, and a full laundry room.
In short, the villa stands out because it offers a rare blend of history, luxury, comfort, and tranquility — all in the most iconic location in Jerusalem.
