Welcome to Mango Gardens! We want to assure all of our guests that we are following enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures with COVID 19. Your peace of mind is our highest priority!
This charming building is located in one of the most upscale neighborhoods in Sarasota. It is just steps away from Southside Village, which is home to more than 10 restaurants, local bars, live music, great shopping, a gourmet grocery store, and much more. The hospital is also within walking distance and very convenient.
Beautiful Siesta Key Beach is only 5 miles away and downtown is about 2 miles away.
The apartment itself has been newly renovated and is light and airy with a coastal theme. Sparkling clean and cozy, it features new stainless appliances and quartz countertops in the kitchen. The bedroom has a Euro stitched pillow-top king size bed with an abundance of soft pillows and blankets.
There are two smart TVs with local channels and access to Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon prime which you can log into with your account.
And of course there is high-speed Wifi and a spacious desk to work at with your laptop or tablet!
There is also a washer and dryer inside the unit.
There is everything you could possibly need for your home away from home!
This unit also includes 1 designated parking space in our carport.

Great stay

We loved the neighborhood. There are lots of food options in walking distance. It is a short drive downtown and to both Siesta Key and Lido Key beaches.

Nice place in a quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this place. Positives: Nice neighborhood in a quaint village. Pleasant owners. Had one of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on! Good WiFi. Everything was in working order. Covered parking spot reserved for our unit. Plenty of great dining options only a block away. Drawbacks: paper-thin walls allowed us to hear others a bit too clearly, particularly in the common hallway leading out to the back yard. Not enough silverware; we practically had to wash (some) dishes after every meal. Cell phone coverage (AT&T) was spotty at times. Also, there was a hospital nearby with a life-flight helipad, so there were helicopters coming and going rather frequently that we could hear quite well.

great stay in quiet "village" near everything

We love this area! Had some worries beforehand about noise from hospital helicopters mentioned in 2 reviews. Because of those reviews, we took note of any time we heard helicopters. It was 4 times in 8 days, and the only reason we noticed them is because we were listening for them. Adrienne has set up this vintage apartment with the comfort of guests in mind, unlike some other places we have stayed. Comfortable king size bed with matching bedside tables and excellent lamps for reading. Handy kitchen island with swivel chairs. 60 inch tv that allowed us to sign in for use of Prime, etc., with comfortable large hassock to put our feet on. All was sparkling clean. Private parking space was great, given that this is a busy hospital area and an area with probably 20 restaurants. 10 minute drive to Siesta Beach. No need to drive on the Tamiami Trail for daily activities. Wonderful walking area. We appreciate the care this host is giving to us and to her vintage building!

Great location

Loved being walking distance to Morton’s gourmet grocery store, restaurants & boutique shopping. Safe walking neighborhood and quiet apartment complex with a designated parking stall. Only negative was no dishwasher and the constant hum of helicopters going to & from the nearby hospital.

Close to everything

Listing and reviews accurate. Found lots of fun things to do near by. Lido Beach, Saturday Main Street Market, Bayshore Park, restaurants nearby, great market down the street and Anna Marie Island. You’ll need a car to enjoy the area. Easy parking. Great time.

Nice area, lots of shops

Nice area, convenient walking to shops, although a little noisy due to hospital helicopter and heavy walker upstairs neighbor. Beautiful furnishings except for excessively high bed. Tree in back yard had branches with falling plant material that caked the bottom of our shoes that we tracked into the apartment and constantly had to clean up. Otherwise a nice rental house.

Walkable neighborhood and easy access to town

Great location for many shops, restaurants, and services, as well as safe walking. Owners have done a fine job on renovating this mid-century apartment for efficiency and comfort. Only disappointments: difficulty with internet connection on smart tv, and no recycling pickup.

Excellent location between beaches and down town (farmers' market, etc.)

We enjoyed our stay. The flat was very clean and well appointed. We've family in Sarasota so we appreciated the central location, minutes by car to Siesta Key as well as downtown. It is a block from Southside Village which makes getting a morning coffee and nosh so easy! Thank you, Adrienne, for being so responsive to our questions and being a great host!
