Algonquin Manitou Cottage & Lost Dog
The Manitou features a main floor with an open-concept living and dining room with a wood stove, a fully-equipped kitchen with island and bar stools, and a small reading room den (pull-out single sofa bed). Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms. The principal room has a queen size bed and a sliding door with access to a small deck looking out towards the lake. The second bedroom has 1 bunk bed ( 2 single beds).
The Lost Dog is connected to the Manitou through a mudroom/hallway with a half bathroom. The Lost Dog has 3 bunk beds (6 single beds) and a small seating area. (pull-out single bed). Both the hallway and the Lostdog are connected to a private bathroom with a shower.
The lakefront has a shallow sandy entry alongside a dock. The Manitou comes with 1 canoe, paddles, and PFDs.
An outfitter less than one km away offers canoe, kayak, SUP, and paddle rentals and a licensed patio.
Cozy, lakeside cottage on the edge of Algonquin Park with a nice beach and a beautiful view of Kawawaymog Lake. The area is known for it's world-class canoeing and excellent bass fishing. Bring your bike or hike along the Forgotten Trails.
