Good location with great view of the Pacific Ocean

My wife and I really enjoyed a peaceful get away, our first vacation since the pandemic. Everything was as expected and the location was great for restaurants and shopping. Irma, who was the on-site manager, was also a great resource and efficiently managed any issues that arose

A great choice

Because we appreciate a less crowded tourist environment we chose Manzanillo over other spots on the coast. And we chose Claudia's condo because it is in an eight-unit building right on the beach with a great layout and excellent facilities. Because we like a less complicated routine and easy access to groceries, liquor stores and restaurants, we found this condo to be a great choice. Claudia is readily available and very helpful.

a great condo unit, but needs update

In a great 8-unit condo building, this unit lags behind in "modernity" - outdated bathrooms, poor quality kitchen utensils, and untreated (ie oiled) wooden furnishings. Needs a thorough cleaning of the nooks & crannies throughout. t has a terrific layout and the grounds & pool area are very good.

Water, water everywhere

This place is almost perfect. Paloma and her mother, Irma met us when we arrived, showed us everything and explained how to contact them. Requests for more water were responded to promptly. The washing machine was broken so they took our laundry each week. We like to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed: full set of pots, plenty of dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils, even a blender. Every morning, I drank my coffee on the balcony and watched the waves. What would make it perfect? An electric juicer. My poor hand got tired squeezing all those limes for my margaritas!

Great views

This place has a great view of the ocean and the pool area is wonderful. The beach is not swimmable and hard to walk long distances on due to the steep grade. You can take the number 1 bus to Centro, grocery stores or La Boquita Beach. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. The apartment has everything you need, but is very tired and in need if an overhaul. The king bed was comfortable in the primary bedroom. The double beds in the secondary bedroom were not very comfortable. The apartment is on a very busy road so is very noisy at all hours. The washing machine was not working. Irma and Paloma (the property manager) are very responsive to any needs and will bring bottled water on request. They also picked up our laundry and did it free of charge.

Well kept grounds and condo. Condo kitchen, cleaning supplies, towels, bedding, all excellent, bottled water supplied for the month. All equipment fridge ,stove, AC etc worked as expected. My wife enjoyed the comp bottle of vino. Felt safe and welcomed in the building and area. We'll stay there again.

Had a great time!

We really enjoyed our one-month stay at the Condominio Las Garzas in Manzanillo. We were greeted by Irma and Jorge. They introduced us to the unit and the facilities. A bottle of very fine wine (left by the owner Claudia) was a perfect starter for our first evening. Five bottles of water were left for us as well. The unit is very well decorated Mexican style. There was an ample supply of dishes, glasses, cutlery and towels. The stove, fridge, microwave, laundry washer and dryer all worked well. There is a big-screen television in the living room and a smaller one in the master bedroom both with Netflix capability and a vcr – but not connected to any channels. Wifi was great easily handled our iPads and phones without interruptions or delays. We enjoyed lounging around the pool and the occasional careful dip in the ocean. Oh yes… a maid once a week was provided at no extra cost! The unit is located right next door to the excellent La Huerta restaurant and is a short bus ride to many more. In fact, the #1 bus will take you almost everywhere on the main road – Grocery shopping at Soriana, Wal-Mart and La Comer; Saturday trip to the Mercado in Santiago; a trip to Centro for a visit to the Marina, and a trip to the beaches in the Santiago area as well as the Oasis restaurant. All for 9 pesos per person per trip. A visit to Las Brisas area and the Pacifica del Mar restaurant or the Pata Salada Cocina restaurant both worth a visit.

We have always been an outdoors lovers and for that reason, we decided to buy this condo to have a place of our own to enjoy the beach and the sun.
We have two children and a granddaughter, and live in Guadalajara Mexico

Why they chose this property

As a beach lovers, we have planned our retirement in 2028 here, at the beach. We found the opportunity to buy this lovely condo that will host us when this time arrives.
Also we can enjoy it with the family in the mean time.
