Rustic dog-friendly beach home on Neskowin Marsh Golf Course + 2 blocks to beach

Summary:

2nd Tee at Neskowin Village

The Space:

Plan the ultimate trip to the beach with your family and four-legged friends in tow in this charming cottage offering large outdoor entertaining areas and easy beach access! The home is located right next to the historic Neskowin Marsh Golf Course's second tee-box, making it ideal for golf lovers and beach goers alike.

The beach is just two blocks away, and your home is ideally located between Pacific City and Lincoln City when you feel like taking a road trip! The uncrowded beaches offer hours of fun building sandcastles or flying kites, as well as unique vantage points like Proposal Rock and the famed 'ghost forest.'

The laid-back space is open and sunny, offering ample room to relax outside or unwind inside on a blustery night. Media entertainment is robust and includes WiFi, cable TV, and a DVD/VHS library. Whether you've caught the fresh seafood yourself or purchased it in town, you'll have no trouble whipping up a feast in the fully stocked kitchen. Gather for group meals around the large wooden table or get cozy in a patio chair on the spacious deck. There's even a gas grill for your cookouts!

Leave cleanup to the dishwasher and head off to bed. The three-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath home sleeps six guests (no more than six adults) and provides laundry facilities. Two rooms are located in the main house, and the third is located in a cute detached room. Sleeping options include one queen bed and two double beds. Two canine friends are welcome with an additional nightly dog fee.

Your pooch will love spending long days playing fetch at the beach or hiking at the Cascade Head Nature Preserve. Visit in summer for fresh produce and wares at the farmers and craft market at State Park Wayside, or grab deli food and pizza at the Neskowin Market. Between the beach and the golf course, you'll get your fill of fresh ocean air, so you're sure to return home rejuvenated!

Start packing your beach bag today for a trip to this charming Oregon Coast cabin!

Quiet getaway

Property met our needs. Some things were a little threadbare, but we were comfortable. We would stay there again.

Good family stay

The house is ready. We didn’t bring dogs. And the house has a dog smell so be ready for a dog smell.

Nice location

The location is very nice. Neskowin is a cute area. I was a little disappointed that the carpet smelled a bit like pet urine. However, the property manager was easy to communicate with and I am sure it has been remedied.

Hard to leave

We were so comfortable here. Close to the beach, away from it all. The town was full of friendly folk. Hard to leave.

Perfect space

The house was the perfect space for our extended family, my husband and I and our daughter's family. The separate bedroom allowed my husband to sleep in past the early risers. This will be our new home away from home.

sweet beach cottage!

What a great time we had at this sweet beach cottage! Spacious deck off the kitchen is a wonderful gathering space for larger crowds. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking a meal. And the short walk to the beach access was doable for our children, we felt safe sending them on their own. We would stay here again, the price was right. Thank you!

1 Week in Neskowin

The property we rented was exactly as advertised, and fit our family perfectly. It has all the goodies we needed and then some! The location was excellent, right on the golf course. Very short walk to the beach, not too far to the local deli/market. We could hear waves crashing while in the house, definitely a plus. I would go back.

Sweet place

The deck and living/dining room makes this place, as does the location close to the village store and beach. The stand-alone bedroom was musty and needed aired out. There are ants in the kitchen. The fans in both bathrooms need to be cleaned out. All around, though, we really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful House!

We really enjoyed this house for our family vacation. It was very spacious and had many items to make our trip a fun and relaxing one. There were just a couple things that need to be fixed so future guests don't have any hiccups: shower curtain rod needs to be replaced as spring tension is broken, bolt/nail on porch near the entrance to the overhang outside of the front door needs to be covered so someone doesn't stub their toe, DVD player needs to be inspected as it did not work. Other than that everything was AMAZING and we will be back!

Loved the location to the beach.

This is a small simple cabin that had all the basics. We loved the charm of Neskowin and location to the beach and a nice restaurant. Furniture is kind of worn and a bit uncomfortable. The carpet was a problem most likely due to it being a pet friendly rental. The house smelled musty and of strong dog order. May be to time for a shampoo or vinyl flooring?

Cozy place could use some small updates

Stayed here in 2017 and again this year, both times the house has felt extremely cozy, like visiting a relatives place, I’d say the shower curtain needs to be replaced as it gets caught and is frustraiting to use and maybe some sort of curtain for the window in the shower, the beds are pretty old frames and not the most comfortable, a lot of the outlets won’t hold the items plugged into them and a lot of the lights don’t reach a plug, Besides those small things we had a great time! Saw a bear!

Neskowin. Second Tee

Comfortable cottage. Main problems were that the floor was damp and musky. If you walked around with socks on your socks would be damp after a few minutes. Also the kitchen range does not have a hood so all the vapors from cooking go into the air. Beds were comfortable. Beautiful little village. Walking distance to beach. And the setting is beautiful. Cottage need some upgrades.

Pandemic Getaway

After nine months of not leaving home except for supplies, it was great to stay in this quiet house near the ocean with the lovely beach. We also enjoyed watching the varied birds in the area. A little more instructions regarding the Rako TV would have been helpful.....the World Series shut off after three innings until my husband figured out he had to go in through Raku. The flash lights in kitchen all have dead batteries. Well stocked kitchen. Janice

Tranquil

The stay was amazing loved the cabin, you can tell it’s older. That did not stop us from enjoying our time! The only thing that was bothersome was that it said there was DVD’s and there was but nothing to play it on the dvd/vhs couldn’t connect to the tv.. so the kids saw a movie they wanted to watch but were unable too. Also there is no screens on the windows and I love to have my window open. But other than that it had everything you would need.

Quiet sanctuary nestled into the coast

This is a great little place tucked into a quiet community. Very comfortable just letting the kids go play without worry and a really short walk to the beach. House is situated well and the boys really lived the detached room. Rooms are very small but we don’t spend time in the bedrooms except to sleep. Only thing I would suggest is that if you like to cook, bring your spices and knives. I travel with my knives because I don’t expect a rental to have great knives. It would be nice if they had some spices. The market is an incredible little treat to help if you need anything and Mike, the owner, has some products you have to try and is always up for a quick chat. It is a bit off the beaten path and is a drive to other places, but the beac wasn’t packed and we had a great time.
