Very clean, dog-friendly home in Morehead City with everything we needed for our trip. The fenced-in back yard was great with plenty of room for the three of us, plus two dogs. The owners was super responsive and helpful. Would recommend to others looking for a dog-friendly place to stay in Morehead City that is an easy drive to Big Rock Landing, Beaufort, and Atlantic Beach.

This little place is absolute perfection! It has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful beach getaway and is immaculately clean. It has such a cool, artsy vibe! The host was also extremely helpful and always responded immediately. We will definitely want to stay here again when we return!

Very clean, nicely decorated, convenient location central to Morehead City, quick drive to Beaufort, Atlantic Beach, and Emerald Isle. Great neighborhood and area for morning and evening strolls. Would highly recommend and will use again.

What a darling house and back yard. We took our dog, and the large, fenced backyard was perfect for him to run around. The yard has a tall, privacy fence with room for kids to play and adults to sit around the fire pit. The house is well appointed with stylish decor. The location was perfect for our needs. We truly appreciated the well stocked coffee bar. Be sure to bring your own creamer. We would definitely book the house again. The hostess communicated promptly and allowed for an early check-in! Thank you.

The most important part for this trip was to give my daughter a memory of a lifetime. She brought some of her closest friends, and I know she had one of the best memories of her life. The second most important of our trip was to make our dog, Oliver included. I was searching for a dog friendly place and this place accommodated all of Oliver’s needs. He is a big German Shepherd with big dreams, a lot of energy, and personality. He did extremely well! I am so grateful to our host and cohost for all of the amenities and space. It was wonderful and spectacular to say the least. The most beautiful home to come home to. Very grateful!

Where do I start. Let’s start with location. It’s perfect! Not far from the beach at all, plenty of restaurants and cafés for coffee and breakfast and also drinks. Plenty of options for groceries and gas, etc. The house and everything inside is fantastic. Heated floors in the bathroom, so great and the style of the sink is the coolest. I only utilized one of the bedrooms but I can say, without a doubt, I slept as if I was home. The sheets were super soft, pillows were perfect. It was just great all the way around. Ava was super with communication, before my stay, during and then after. I came all the way up from Florida to see family that live just a few miles away, and I couldn’t have picked a better home to make the trip my home away from home. Cannot wait to come back!!

The Surf+Sleep is located in a quiet little neighborhood within walking distance of a coffee shop & bar, pharmacy, and convenience store. The shops and restaurants of downtown Morehead city's waterfront are just a few blocks away (3 minute drive). Take the bridge to Atlantic Beach and you'll be walking in the sand within 10 minutes. Lowe's Foods grocery store and Bank's Grill (perfect brunch spot) is just a two minute drive away. Walk along the intercoastal waterway's spooky Calico Creek boardwalk to witness local flora and fauna, with the entrance in walking distance from the residence.

With a large fully fenced in back yard, you can enjoy the cool evenings by the fire pit and sunny mornings lounging on the patio. The outdoor shower is a lovely experience post-beach!
