The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Don't worry about the beds, our cleaner will strip them. Please leave all used towels and wash cloths in bathroom floor.
When leaving, lock the back door and return the key to the lockbox.
The trash can is located outside under the light pole. Safe travels!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
THE LOFTS- please be cautious climbing up and down these ladders. please do not leave small children unattended as they could fall.
Kayaks- please hose off and replace to rack after use. please use provided life vests. KAYAK AND SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
FARMLAND- please do not trespass on surrounding farmland. You may use cabin, surrounding yard and lake.

Such a relaxing and peaceful cabin and property. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, cornhole, birding, the sunset and sunrise, and reading on the porch. We have stayed at tons of VRBOS and this was by far one of the best! We will stay again in the future!

We stopped for a single night. Check in and out was easy. Home is small but has everything you need. The use of the space is great and makes it feel larger. The real gem is the views and peaceful atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place that’s quiet and enjoy the outdoors, this place will not disappoint.

Such a cozy stay—perfect for our one-night trip with a family of five and our dog. The water views were beautiful, and the deck was so peaceful to relax on. The kids absolutely loved the loft space! We would definitely stay here again.

Communication was fast, friendly, and thorough. The tiny home is perfect! . Two bedrooms with plenty of space and very comfortable beds and great pillows. Even though it's a tiny home, you have all kinds of space. The bathroom is roomy, and if you love to take a bath, (I do ) then you will love the humongous tub. Excellent water pressure and really hot water. Full kitchen for anything you might want to do. The big screened pirch, sitting patio, firput area with chairs, cornhole boards, kayaks make outdoor time so fun. The lake being right there is so cool. The Cyprus trees are gorgeous. I enjoyed my coffee swinging on the screened porch swing, watching the turtles pop their heads up to see what's going on, dragonflies swooping around in a multitude of colors, and mourning doves cooing. 10/10. We will 100% stay again.

Everything about our stay was awesome. The host was so responsive and quick to any question I had before and even one I had during our stay. The house was so clean and beautifully decorated and super comfortable too. The property it was on was perfect for what we wanted which was to feel remote and a beautiful spot. I lived the wide open fields we were surrounded by and the pond right out the back door. We sat out on the deck most of the day really soaking it all in.

This lakeside cabin truly was so cozy!! We stayed for a quick overnight and wish we’d been able to be there longer to enjoy everything it had to offer. It was great for our small group and so easy to access and find. We had three people coming from Indiana and three coming from Texas - it was the perfect spot to meet in the middle! It had everything we needed to be able to cook supper, breakfast, and enjoy some family time before everyone went their own way.We hung out with a dozen tree frogs on the back deck, loved just watching the water, and got to show the kids rice fields! The lofts are great for older kids and younger adults. The beds and couch were all very comfortable. There’s a Blackstone and fire pit we didn’t get to use but absolutely will next time! Colby was so kind, communicative, and timely in her responses. Everything was very clean, and there were plenty of towels and supplies with quality soaps and paper products!! We also appreciated the fans throughout the home; they helped us sleep so well!

The host was amazing and most welcoming. He messaged daily to check in with us and make sure our expectations had been met. He also provided excellent details about the cabin and the location. I cannot say enough to express the graciousness of the host!The cabin was very cozy, clean and inviting. Our grandson loved the loft bedrooms. We are looking foreard to going back this spring when the weather permits using the kayaks. However, the snow was quite beautiful in this lovely little retreat!

This was a cozy little hideaway with a unique feel of seclusion off the beaten path, being next to both fields and water. Available kayaks for guests is a really cool addition, and you can view spacious sunrise/sunsets. Good sized screened in back porch was really nice to lounge in as well. I can’t say enough about this place, it really was a perfect stay for a night in the middle of a very long road trip. We had excellent communication with the host throughout the experience as well.
