About this property

The Pelican - Celebrating Wildlife Conservation

This main floor guest room has two twin beds and honors the local heroes: the White Pelican, the Brown Pelican, and the Grebe, species whose conservation was supported by President Roosevelt’s progressive establishment of wildlife refuges during his administration. Two walls of windows overlooking the front garden makes this room one of the brightest. It also shares interior doors with the Whitetail Room, allowing guests the flexibility to rent each space separately or combine them as a single, expansive suite. This room does not have its own bathroom but shares the main floor bathroom down the hall with the Whitetail room. Both rooms are fully ADA accessible, ensuring comfort and convenience for all visitors while providing a meaningful tribute to these iconic birds and the legacy of early conservation efforts.
