This property was well suited to our needs with 3 families in attendance. Comfortable and spacious. Good quiet location but not too far from attractions.
We had a nice stay at Caroline's place. The house was very centrally located to a lot of great spots for sightseeing. There is a great view of the bush from the deck. The house also has heaps of space for large families.
Beautiful house with plenty of room for our extended family. Caroline was an excellent host who answered my question beforehand and house was presented clean and tidy.House was just perfect for our family Christmas. Thanks Caroline
Caroline was a fantastic communicator throughout the booking and stays experience. she was very kind and accomodating to needs. The house and location is beautiful and comfortably fits a large group beyond expectations. Thanks Caroline
We being two couples had a great time at this property. Very comfortable beds and adequately furnished with a well stocked pantry and all "tools of trade' one needs in the kitchen. a superb forrest view from the kitchen, lounge and one bedroom. The large deck overlooking the forrest was visited daily by numerous birds including cockatoos parrots and kookaburras. Caroline our hostess was most helpfull and obliging. Murray
We all had a great relaxing time. Very lovely country side. Very spacious and clean. Really enjoyed ourselves.Would stay there again.Caroline was lovely to deal with. Thank you.
Booked this accommodation to attend wedding in Myrniong. Close to the venue as well as Trentham and Blackwood. Close to State/National parks if you want to go for walks. Accomodation itself was spacious.
First impressions were a little disappointing with cobwebs etc around the front door but once inside we settled in very comfortably with plenty of space for 10 of us. Our grandchildren especially appreciated the cupboard full of toys and games.
Loved the privacy and space - we had the whole house and 3 acre property to ourselves. Was very relaxing looking through the big windows onto the forest. Comfortable beds and warm house. Well set up for our dog too. Only a short drive to the beautiful St Erth garden with several dog-friendly walking tracks. Short drive to good eateries and IGA supermarket.
A wonderful place to stay and reconnect with nature.
Great home, plenty of space and well equipped, with everything we could wish for, including a fantastic deck overlooking the Wombat State Forest.
Thank you for sharing your house with us, Caroline!

Thank you so much, I am really happy that you enjoyed our house and had a nice quiet relaxing break away!
3 generations enjoyed a week and a half of relaxation in this beautiful home nestled in the trees. Well stocked with everything you could need, you can happily stay inside and keep busy in case of rain. Otherwise, enjoy the huge veranda on an assortment of comfy chairs and watch the local birdlife
A delightful spacious house with a huge deck facing the tall trees of the wombat forest. Waking up to birdsong, strolling along trails in the Wombat and Lerderderg forests, lunching in the nearby Garden of St Erths, Chilling in the local Greendale pub and pubs in Trentham.. what a perfect getaway it was for us. Highly recommended!
A great place to unwind after another long and challenging year. Our family and the other family who stayed with us had an endless list of things to do and explore and the kids had a fantastic holiday with lots of fun, nature and a bit of a break from technology. Great home, great location within easy reach of lots of attractions. Excellent communication with the owners. Thanks for the great memories.
We had a relaxing stay in the house. The house is so spacious and fully equipped. I didn’t see/find any Echidna, that’s the only disappointment for me 😂…
Caroline provided a very comprehensive information before we arrived. She was very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Thank you so much Caroline.
Plenty of room for the family and friends, with an open living area and large patio .
Girls enjoyed there stay there but we did spend most days trail bike riding in the wombat forest . Great location.
We had a wonderful 2 night stay, wished we could have stayed longer. The house was perfect for 2 families with plenty of room, 2 main bedrooms with ensuites, very well equipped kitchen and lots of games. Felt very relaxed, enjoyed lunch at Greendale pub. Host was great to deal with. Would definitely recommend.
It's all about the location - beautiful trees, native vegetation, creek and birdlife. Perfect for a bit of teenage exploring. The house was a great size. But the lower bunk beds don't have much headroom for bigger kids. Take warm clothes in colder months as the fire takes a while to warm up. A coat rack would have been handy.
This was the perfect accomodation for my two friends and our children to recharge and reconnect. Spacious with big living areas and ample bedrooms and it had everything we needed. It was also very warm inside considering it was very cold outside. Loved the forest and stream out the back. Highly recommended!!
This is a large, roomy, clean home close to the things we wanted to visit which suited our group. The house is warm in winter and the host friendly and communicative. The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to stay home and cook one night although nothing to make coffee, which the host told us so we bought our own. Two of the bedrooms are not suitable for adults, which was clear from the site but important to understand. Furnishing is clean and relatively basic.
