Wondereful get-away
This is one of the best places we have stayed since we started bringing our three grandkids on adventures over Labor Day weekend--more than ten years now! The house is large with five bedrooms and two bathrooms and the kitchen was very big and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable also. There is a big yard, place for a fire and a creek and the host's farm across the road with animals, which the kids enjoyed. We also were able to pick fresh veggies from the garden. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Amazing farmstay
Greg and Mary's home was wonderful! Sparkly clean and equipped with all you need plus more! We were able to enjoy their farm animals with a couple visits and see/feed the baby lambs and baby cows. My kids made wonderful memories because of these wonderful people.

About the host

My husband Greg grew up a quarter mile down the road and we purchased our farm 39 years ago. We've enjoyed the country life over the years and all that it has to offer. We've raised many different animals on the farm. Currently we have beef cattle, sheep, chickens and kittens that run throughout the property. We have raised five daughters who have all throughly enjoyed the creek and all the other benefits of our property.

Why they chose this property

This property neighbors our farm land and growing up the kids enjoying playing on the property with the neighbor kids. We rented the neighboring crop land for over ten years while the neighbors occupied the house. When it was placed for sale in October of 2012 we decided to purchase the additional land to expand our crop farm operation. Rather than demolish the home we decided to fix it up and utilize it as a rental home for guests.

What makes this property unique

The backyard is a great place for a campfire and admiring the starlit sky at night. Enjoy seeing deer and wild turkeys nearby, sheep enjoying the pasture, beef cattle grazing, along with ducks and geese down by the creek. You'll also catch a glimpse of the occasional Amish buggy passing by.
