About this property
Rose Hill Farm in Amish Community near vet school
Rest and relax in this beautifully renovated home down a private gravel drive in a quiet Amish community. 20 minutes from LMU vet school. 35 minutes from LMU. Surrounded by pastures and meadows with beautiful scenery and gorgeous sunsets, this retreat is sure to become a family favorite.
Within 20 minutes of White Rocks trailhead and Wilderness Rd State Park, 30 minutes to quaint little town of Cumberland Gap with restaurants, coffee shop, scenic overlook, hiking, and historical sites.
The space:
Two bedrooms with king beds, full bathroom with beautiful tiled shower, full kitchen with all the basics for cooking a homemade meal, seating for 9 (dining table plus barstool area) and a spacious open living room with comfy furniture including a queen pullout sofa and electric fireplace/entertainment center with large TV/Roku. Beautiful views of the countryside from every window. Large brand new deck where sunrises and gorgeous sunsets can be enjoyed.
Guest access:
The entire home is yours to enjoy with the exception of the basement which is used for storage and remains locked.
Other things to note:
This home is in a rural Lee County, Virginia Amish community 20 minutes from a coffee gift shop, a baked goods/bulk food store, as well as another small locally owned coffee shop. Diagonal to the house is a small well maintained cemetery (very quiet neighborhood!). Dollar General on Flanary Rd is 13 minutes. Super Walmart Jonesville is 20 minutes. All paved state maintained roads except the last half mile which is a very well maintained gravel drive. PLEASE DO BE MINDFUL OF HORSES AND BUGGIES, BICYCLISTS, AND PEDESTRIANS AS THIS IS AN ACTIVE AMISH COMMUNITY. If you prefer the beaten path, there are hotel choices elsewhere, but we think OFF the beaten is the way to go!
