Wonderful stay on the farm, we enjoyed walking the property and visiting the animals. We enjoyed a number of treats from the farm store as well.

The host was super helpful to work with. Everything with the house and farm was so beautiful and antique. They provided freshly made sourdough bread, fresh pork breakfast sausage from the farm, and fresh eggs from the farm, which were delicious. We hosted a small Rehearsal Dinner for our wedding and the space was perfect and so home-y for it. Also, we did wedding day pictures here and they were gorgeous.

Amazing stay, honestly wish we weren't so busy that we could just actually stay and enjoy the property, but hopefully we'll be back again in the future.

Lovely home and property! We enjoyed morning walks and visits the the market. Definitely visit the market! Spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the fresh pasture raised eggs, breakfast sausage and fresh bread waiting for us when we arrived with a personal welcome note. A real gem of a property.

The house is spacious and very historic feeling! The beds are very firm, which we found to be comfortable, and there's soap in the showers but no shampoo or conditioner(So make sure you bring it!) The location is a bit far from most things, but of course it's in the country so that might be the very thing you're looking for! We enjoyed our stay here. We appreciate that the host is put their own farm fresh eggs and sausage and cheese in our refrigerator for us. Those details are always a nice touch.

We had family coming in from out of town and they were delighted. As their young boys were leaving they wanted wanted to know when we’re doing this again. High praise from 8 year olds. Josephine also gave us a wonderful tour of the farm. Hearing about their commitment to the land and their farm animals was inspiring.

We had a wonderful stay. The host and onsite owners were very accommodating and great to work with. I highly recommend this location! We noticed a minor leak from the ceiling and they were out right away to take care of the leak and repaired it quickly. (A/C related)The kitchen is amazing and plenty of space to work in. The hot tub was a welcome addition after our long trip. The farm is lovely as is the farm store. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

The house and it's facilities were lovely. We used the home to house guests in town for a wedding. They loved the accommodations and the beautiful farm location. There was plenty of space and bathrooms and the large kitchen was a huge bonus.

We love this house. I want to live in this house. Very well stocked kitchen and large comfortable bedrooms. Three bathrooms was a huge plus as we were traveling for an out of town wedding nearby. Chase was super helpful and responsive. I wish the listing had been clearer about the need to bring you own towels for the hot tub but that was not that big a deal. Would absolutely stay here again.

Altho we had a little bit of a bee infestation on the main level (they were getting in somehow through the bay window), this was an absolutely lovely stay. I loved the house. We held a huge breakfast in the dining room for my kids, and everyone slept so well on the comfy beds. Granddaughter absolutely loved the animals in the farm, and it was so close to the wedding we were attending as well as downtown Warrenton! Each room was a delight. Excellent experience.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time at Whiffletree! The house is beautiful and staying on a working farm is so unique. The house is well-equipped with everything you need and the hosts left us farm-fresh goodies and some staples- so thoughtful. The location is beautiful and serene but a very short drive from Warrenton for restaurants and shopping. We loved our stay!

Nice Country Farm House. Large Space. Very Historic. Smaller Kitchen, but we weren't cooking so that wasn't a problem. Check-in was easy. Keys readily available.

Another wonderful visit!

This was our fifth year visiting the farm with our kids. It’s a special place and we cherish the memories we make there. The house is just as pictured and always spotless. The hosts are terrific. We look forward to being back!

Wonderful stay at a wonderful place

Whiffletree Manor House is A beautifully preserved, but still updated house. Our out-of-town guests couldn’t get over how nice it was, both the overnight guests and the ones who came to a baby shower we had there. Not only is the house lovely but so are the grounds, there’s even a swing hanging from one of the trees to make it look that much more picturesque. We would definitely rent this house again for when we have people visiting.

Whiffletree Manor

Overall, nice stay. Great house, lots of potential. Realizing it’s an old house, but first floor entry, hall and living room were musty, not good for those with allergies.
