Such an amazing property, and friendly host! The entire place was clean, property was beautiful, and I will definitely stay here again. The on site gym equipment and massage chair was a nice bonus!

Beautiful property and all the furnishing, gym equipment, massage chair were the high quality. Some VRBO's cut corners on the quality of the furniture, blankets and other furnishings, but not here! Everything made you feel like you were in a luxurious suite. The added touch of 3 different coffee makers so you can have it the way you are used is just one of the extra special touches. Hot tub and smart phone connection worked seamlessly to listen to music after the end of a wonderful day wine tasting in Walla Walla. Would definitely book this place again.

This was not listed as a multi residence location. We had to listen to their elephant footsteps, as well as their talking and arguing unto after midnight. The house itself is also not as advertised. The image actually belongs to a tasting room, not the house with a basement rental. The host tried to make it better by offering earplugs and a sound machine, but that don’t cut it. The host also helped us get a 50% refund, but that’s doesn’t make up for the false advertising, and the miserable night. I had to pay full price for another rental.

For clarity, the Forrest Retreat is a private lower-level suite with its own entrance, living area, bathroom, and bedrooms. This layout is clearly described in our listing so guests know exactly what to expect. Most guests find the suite very quiet, but your visit happened to overlap with an upstairs flooring project where we were adding additional sound barrier materials. We addressed the noise as soon as we were made aware. All listing photos were taken personally with our cell phone and accurately reflect the suite and property; none are from a tasting room or any other business. You traveled with dogs, and pets can be sensitive to new environments and sounds, which may have contributed to the disturbances you experienced. We also prepared a complimentary welcome basket with individually wrapped dog treats for your stay. Based on your feedback, we have chosen not to allow visiting pets to stay in the suite to help ensure the quietest experience possible. When you reached out, we responded promptly by providing earplugs, a sound machine, and by working closely with VRBO to secure a significant refund. While we wish your stay had been more restful, we appreciate your communication and continue to use guest feedback to refine the experience. We remain committed to offering a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable stay.
