Room to relax. Lakefront property. Amazing views!

Welcome to our spacious family-oriented home with amazing views and direct lake access, located within the gated community of The Pointe of Shanghai.

Walk in the front door on the home's main level and you have a spectacular view of Norris Lake. The main floor offers plenty of space to relax in the great room or gather in the large kitchen/dining area. There's also a den/office, suitable for some quiet time. Two full-sized refrigerators are easily accessible in the kitchen (with 2 ice-makers) and adjoining utility room. A full bath on the main level stores a queen size airbed with linens in the closet. The spacious master bedroom has an on-suite large bathroom, king size bed, extra pillows, two dressers, closet and access to the upper deck through a sliding patio door.

The upper deck wraps around the house, with a ramped access from the driveway. This deck offers a dining table with 6 padded chairs, 10 tall chairs, small round tall table, outdoor sofa, two oversized chairs, coffee table and propane gas grill ... lots of space to enjoy incredible views of the lake.

The lower level includes a family room with sectional sofa and kitchenette with sink, small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. A gameroom provides family fun with a regulation size ping pong table and 3-in-1 table for playing cards or bumper pool. Four bedrooms provide 8 beds (one king, one queen, two bunkbeds - twin over full, 2 additional twin beds) and three full bathrooms. The lower deck spans the entire front length of the house with additional access from an outside staircase.

NOTE - The walk between the house and dock involves a total of 164 steps (stairs) and a couple areas of a steeper but walk-able concrete pathway. Walking to & from the dock may be too strenuous for anyone with physical, walking or other health issues.

The dock has space for 2 boats (one covered slip and space outside alongside the dock), swim ladder, 6 reclining chairs and a composite deck floating platform.

This property is our family lake home and ask that guests respectfully adhere to no smoking on the premises, no parties or events (i.e., bachelor/bachelorette gatherings) no additional people other than individuals listed on rental contract, no animals/pets.

Great "Room to Relax"

My family, kids and grandkids, were fortunate enough to stay in this beautiful home with a spectacular view off of the expansive back deck. The house was impeccable and the layout easily accommodated our entire party of 8. The location was easily accessed and it was great having the private dock for our boat. I'd highly recommend staying at this beautiful property!

We had a group of friends stay for a long weekend. The house is one of the nicest places I’ve ever been to. The kitchen table was big enough to hold all 11 of us for dinner. There’s not much more you could ask for when you visit Norris Lake than a house like this. Communication was also wonderful and they were able to help us with all of our questions.

Gorgeous home with spectacular view. Extremely clean and very well organized. Fully stocked kitchen for making family meals! Great rec room and plenty of beds for everyone. Dock and location were fantastic. The steps and walk down a steep concrete drive could be a problem for some. I’m not sure this was emphasized enough in listing. Awesome House in a Great Location!

This house was very nice, clean, organized and well kept. The house is a great size for a large group of people. We stayed in a house located in the same cove last year and its a great spot back in a cove. The boat ramp in the community made launching our boat and storing our trailers easy. The owners made sure to warn us ahead of time that the walk from the house to dock is challenging as there are A LOT of steps and there are a lot. The views were breathtaking but so were the steps getting back to the house. Overall this house is great and I would recommend this to anyone. Thanks again!

25th Anniversary Trip with friends

We stayed here for a friend’s trip to celebrate our 25th anniversary! The house is absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean! We didn’t need a thing. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you can imagine you would need. The game room was a hit in the evenings and the balconies have an amazing view of the lake! The steps down to the dock are no joke! They would definitely be a challenge for elderly or anyone who has trouble walking! We definitely got our exercise! We will cherish our memories we made here! Family Friends Weekend

We had 3 families - 6 adults and 6 kids (ages 4-2months old. The house was amazing. We have more than enough room for the kids to play and families to sleep. The dock was large with plenty of room for the kids to safely walk around and jump in with a ladder they could easily use to get in and out. We love the house. Only negative was the walk to the lake. If you plan ahead and bring what you need the first time it is not an issue to make the hike once. We rented a boat and would drive the heavy coolers to the marina down the road and put on the boat. The kids like to do that so it kept them busy and saved our energy. Just have to think outside the box.

Beautiful lake house with private dock

We recently spent a long weekend at this property and it’s surpassed our expectations. It had all the amenities, large rooms and plenty of space for the nine adults in our family. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. There is a beautiful double deck with great views of the water. The only challenge were the steep stairs from the dock to the house, however the marina is close by. We would definitely rent again for our next trip!

Immaculate home with everything you could need. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The only issue we had was with the steps down to the duck because we had out elderly parents with us. This house was amazing and beautiful. Very spacious and it had everything we needed. The view of the lake was gorgeous. My friends and kids had an amazing time boating and swimming off the dock.
