The outside was unassuming, but the inside was decorated so cute! The high ceilings made it feel larger. We had an issue with the TV, but they sent out a friendly guy who got it fixed quickly. The trash can stepper in the kitchen is broken. There was a loud gurgling / gluggung noise all nifht that cane from behind the wssh machine that kept me awake. The bed was not that comfortable for me. The kitchen was nicely stocked. I couldn't figure out how to turn the outside porch light on.

Last one for the Summer

Coming back to a stay at the Pirates Bay property after a visit many years earlier. Even though my kids were little the first time we stayed, the remembered the fun that we had while staying there and were excited to return. The unit is well maintained, had everything in the kitchen you would normally need and was clean. the king bed in the master is comfortable(firm to my liking). My only gripes would be the mold/mildew smell upon entering the unit and the air conditioning performance. Being located at the coast, moisture is always a challenge for buildings/homes. Based on the thermostat reading, the air conditioning would only get to the set temperature in the early hours of each morning. Even while gone for several hours each late evening, we would come back and the temp inside the unit would be 74-75 while set at 72. Each end of the unit would stay warmer until early in the morning but the living room area was always cool. The HOA doesn’t enforce the no glass rule at the pool which was disappointing.
