About the host
Hosted by Ana
Hey everyone! We’re Richard and Ana. Rich was born in Canada but has lived here for over 20 years—he’s officially Costa Rican now—and Ana is Costa Rican too. Rich loves surfing, and Ana loves watching (haha!). We truly enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories. Considering there are billions of us in the world, it feels like an honor when our paths cross. We feel especially blessed to be able to host people in this beautiful piece of Earth we call home.
Why they chose this property
Camaronal is just perfect for disconnecting. Sometimes the silence and peace can feel almost wild. It’s wonderful to listen to the ocean all day—the birds, the wind. Yes, you may hear some noise once in a while, but it’s minimal. Camaronal is convenient, private, and safe. Close to many things, yet still very raw, with a true countryside feeling.
What makes this property unique
We believe every place is unique, beautiful, and full of new feelings. We know our space is special—full of life, just not the kind the modern mind or society is used to. It’s full of real life.
