Properties.
The Space:
Casita 4 is the largest in our collection of four
boutique casitas and the only one with its own
private dunk pool.
The spacious outdoor patio is the heart of this
home. Take a dip in your private pool, enjoy meals
at the outdoor dining area, or unwind on the lounge
chairs with views of the jungle and the south end
of Sayulita.
Inside, two bedrooms each feature a king bed,
ensuite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers,
and individual AC units. The open-concept living
area is also air conditioned and connects to a
fully equipped kitchen with a four-burner gas
stove, full-size refrigerator, blender, toaster
oven, and coffee maker.
The casita is thoughtfully furnished with locally
sourced Mexican decor, giving it a warm and
authentic feel. High-speed fiber wifi (200+ Mbps)
keeps you connected whether you are working
remotely or streaming, and self check-in via
keypad means you arrive on your own schedule.
Guests also have access to the shared main pool
with lounge chairs, located in the common area of
our casita complex.
A note on the setting: the casitas sit at the top
of a short, steep hill (about 60 meters). Most
guests walk it easily, but we also offer discounted
golf cart rentals which make getting around
Sayulita effortless and fun.
Guest Access:
You have full private access to the entire Casita 4,
including both bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living
area, and the private patio with dunk pool.
The main pool and lounge area are shared with
guests staying in the other casitas. There are no
other shared interior spaces. Your casita is fully
private with its own entrance.
The Neighborhood:
The casitas are tucked into the quiet, jungle-lined
south end of Sayulita. This is the ideal location
in town: a 7-minute walk in one direction brings
you to the downtown area and main beach, while a
7-minute walk in the other direction takes you
along a jungle trail to Playa de Los Muertos, a
more secluded and peaceful beach.
The south end has a residential, local feel with a
mix of Mexican and international neighbors. You
will hear roosters in the morning, see local dogs
and cats on the street, and feel the rhythm of
everyday Sayulita life. Taco stands, cafes, and
surf shops are all within easy walking distance.
Getting Around:
There is no need for a car as everything is within walking distance. If you do have a car during your stay there is free street parking in front of the property. We offer discounted golf cart rentals which are the
best way to explore Sayulita and the surrounding
area. They make the hill, grocery runs, and
evening trips to town completely effortless.
Other Things to Note:
A few things to know before booking:
The casitas are located up a short, steep hill
(about 60 meters at a 40-degree incline). Golf
cart rental is available but not required.

Sayulita is a small tropical beach town, not a
resort. Here are a few realities of staying here
that we like to share upfront so there are no
surprises:
- Power outages can occur occasionally. When
power goes out, water pressure is also affected.
- Water is stored in rooftop tanks (tenacos). On
rare occasions we may need to refill them, which
we handle as quickly as possible.
- Internet is high-speed fiber (200+ Mbps) but
local ISP outages can happen rarely. If reliable
internet is critical for your work, we recommend
bringing a mobile hotspot as a backup.
- The pools are not heated.
- The casitas do not have TVs. Many guests enjoy
this as a chance to unplug, and the fast wifi
supports streaming on your own devices.
- Tropical wildlife is part of the experience.
You may see geckos, lizards, or the occasional
ant trail. Scorpions are rare but possible,
especially if clothes or pillows are left on
the floor.
- Mosquitoes can be present, especially in the
evening. We recommend bringing repellent.
- Morning sounds include roosters and dogs. It is
part of the local charm.
- Construction noise is possible as Sayulita
continues to grow.
- Neighboring homes may occasionally have
gatherings in the evening.
- Dust builds up quickly in Mexico's coastal
climate. Regular cleaning is provided between
stays.
We share these details because we believe
transparency leads to better stays. If you have
any questions at all, please reach out. We
respond within the hour.
