Jermain and his guest is welcome back to my home anytime. Next time they have to invite me to their next gathering!!! They had guests over and still managed to follow all my house rules
We had a great stay. The only thing that would be better. More than 1 towel per person, double ply toilet paper and better shower curtain. Otherwise we enjoyed our time

Imagine 4 women arriving to a house for a birthday celebration just to have to pay for another property because you didn't feel safe. This property has potential, but wasn't up to par for me. The location of the property is in a very sketchy area. There were condemned houses all around and on the block. There was drug activity happening on front of the house. The potholes in the streets made driving to the area very slow and cautious. The unit had AC units in the rooms, but some rooms didn't cool down at all. There was a door missing to the basement, and it was not keeping the air in. There are holes in rooms that made me question if there were rodents in the house. There was a truck container unit sitting on the back of the property that was leary. I ended up staying somewhere else and being compensated a cleaning fee only, when we DID NOT stay on the property. The house seemed lived in and we interrupted someone else's stay. Then there was a laundry list of things I'M suppose to clean up, when the house wasn't properly cleaned upon arrival.
The house was clean, organized, and set up as described in the listing. Easy check-in / check-out process and communicative host. We had two cars between 4 guests but there was ample free parking on the street or in the driveway next to the property. The front porch, a great addition that was not listed, was a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy the weather in the mornings and at night. I would definitely stay again on a return visit to Detroit.
