About the host
Your host
This has been our family cabin since it was built around 1985. After 40 years we wanted to share the experience with you.
Why they chose this property
There are many mountains around Oslo, so why is this the best? Because it just a short drive, approximately 2 hours. There are a lot of hills so the scenery is varied. All electricity is in the ground and roads are built discreetly into the landscape. It is high so often the first place to get snow. Least but not last, this place is not a cabin city. The cabins are placed farther apart than most other places. There are no skiing slopes, just endless mountains and nature with cross country skiing trails. This is the place to be.
What makes this property unique
Close to nature, but still with everything you need. From driving all the way to the door, to a snow bath after some time in a wood fired sauna, to view of the mountains, almost no neighbors - all of this at approx 2 hours driving from Oslo.
