Things that work about this place. Location: is great for Mt Lemon, and Sabino Canyon with good accessibility to local grocery stores and shops with a little drive south. Layout: the place is spacious and can easily accommodate large groups with plenty of beds and bathrooms. Amenities: The kitchen has most everything necessary for cooking and the outdoor seating area in very nice in the morning. The hosts: Communication was decent with a little delay in response and check in time but we were refunded a small amount to make up for the inconvenience. They said they tried to fix the Wi-Fi so I will take their word on that but it was still not working when we left. Things that aren't greatThe neighbors: every morning at about 5 am the local rooster and goose start making a racket, good if you like the farm vibe, bad if you want to sleep past that time. Also loud partying/yelling Saturday evening. The house: Run down and last updated in the 90s it has a pretty rough finish with exposed wiring, old rusty fixtures, and appliances that are pretty worse for wear. Carpets could use replacing and overall updates are needed. OverallI would say it's a fine enough place to rent for a large group that doesn't want to worry about the wear and tear on the place they stay. Good for pets. I think it should be much cheaper than it is currently listed and a little more transparent about the condition of the house/neighborhood. Not a bad place to stay just not amazing.
