The Sunfeather – Waterfront 4BR Retreat with Pool, Spa & Game Room

This is truly our home away from home, not just a rental. We’ve poured a great deal of care into every detail and take genuine pride in creating a space where guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for. From the furnishings to the amenities, everything has been thoughtfully chosen to offer a high-quality, welcoming experience. We care deeply about our guests and want every stay to feel effortless, memorable, and like a place you’re happy to return to.

We want you to RELAX at The Sunfeather, a bright 4BR/2BA canal home in quiet Rotonda West. Enjoy a heated saltwater pool, hot tub, covered lanai, game room, and fun in the sun right from the backyard. Sleeps 9, pet-friendly, close to beaches and golf. High-speed WiFi, Smart TVs, and beach gear included. Peaceful neighborhood—no parties. Perfect for families, snowbirds, and longer stays. WELCOME HOME!

Rooms & Spaces

The Sunfeather offers a comfortable, well-laid-out floor plan designed for both privacy and together time. The home features four private bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished with comfortable beds, quality linens, and ample storage. The split-bedroom layout allows guests to spread out while still enjoying shared living spaces.

There are two full bathrooms, including a convenient pool-access bath that makes coming in from the pool or hot tub easy.

The main living area is open and inviting with high ceilings, comfortable seating, and large sliding glass doors that connect seamlessly to the outdoor lanai. The dining area is located just off the kitchen and comfortably seats the group for meals, games, or conversation.

A dedicated game room provides additional space to relax, play, or unwind, making it ideal for kids, teens, or quiet downtime.

Outdoors, the covered lanai serves as an extension of the living space, featuring seating, dining options, and views of the canal. The heated pool and hot tub are the focal point of the backyard, offering space to swim, lounge, and enjoy Florida’s warm weather. The canal-front setting provides peaceful water views and opportunities for fishing and kayaking.

The garage and storage areas are stocked with beach gear, and outdoor essentials for guest use, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.

Guests will enjoy exclusive access to the entire home during their stay. You will not be sharing the property with anyone else—no hosts, no other guests. All indoor spaces, the private pool and hot tub, lanai, backyard, and canal frontage are for your use only, allowing you to relax and enjoy complete privacy throughout your stay.

This was by far the nicest, cleanest and well-appointed home we have stayed in. The hosts, Ed and Julie were absolutely awesome. Very easy to contact and very responsive. It was obvious that every little thing was thought out and much attention given to the details. We would highly recommend this home and would not only book it again but it would be our preference in renting a home in this area.

This property is beyond 5 stars. The hosts provided everything we could want and beyond. They made us feel like guests instead of renters. Location was great! Not walkable but a 5 to15 minute drive from restaurants, shopping and beaches. 30 minutes to the Atlanta Braves Spring Training Ballpark. Outdoor space was wonderful. Beach and pool gear provided, so we didn't need to purchase anything when we arrived! Truly a great place to visit.

Absolutely Incredible Stay at The Sunfeather!We had an amazing stay at The Sunfeather in Rotonda West. The home was incredibly clean, and you can truly tell the owners poured their hearts into every detail of this house. It felt welcoming, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed from the moment we arrived.The pool and hot tub were a huge bonus, and waking up each morning to watch wildlife along the canal was such a peaceful and unique experience. We especially loved the fenced-in yard for our dog—it made traveling with a pet stress-free and enjoyable.This is truly an incredible place, and we can’t say enough good things about it. This is a wonderful place to stay. The hosts description is accurate. Definitely feel the quality of the amenities throughout. From the Well stocked Kitchen and baths, to the quality furniture. We have stayed in Vrbos for years this was by far our favorite. The pool and hot tub were incredible, and the house was truly home away from home. My nephew caught fish from the canel(catch and released). We seen alligators.The bedding was so amazing I ordered a set on my way home. Ed was fantastic -he answered text promptly and was very helpful in recommending things to do in the area. Definitely a 10/10 experience.
