About this property

Historic doctors' villa (>350 m2) in the North German country house style of the turn of the last century.

The property has the characteristic features of a Wilhelminian style house and is furnished with great attention to detail. Luxury furnishings in many rooms with high ceilings, stucco, fireplace/tiled stove, granite floors, large terrace, park-like grounds (approx. 3,800 m2) and much more. Additional beds can be provided if required. A workplace with office chair, printer and monitor is available. Please contact us if you require anything else.

You can reach the North Sea coast in about 15 minutes by car. From there, the East Frisian Islands are easily accessible by ferry (e.g. for day trips).
The "Ewige Meer", the largest upland moor lake in Germany, can be reached in approx. 15 minutes by bike. 3 Dutch bikes, a road bike and a children's bike are available. A bike hire shop is just a few minutes' walk away.

In Norden and Aurich there are good producer markets and other shopping facilities. Basic needs can be easily met directly in the village.

For art lovers we recommend the Kunsthalle Emden, for antique collectors or those interested in nostalgic pieces the "Alte Schmiede" in Aurich-Tannenhausen and for humourists a visit to the Ottohaus in Emden. Children like to go to the MachMitMuseum miraculum in Aurich.

Golf courses in Lütetsburg and Wiesmoor are not far away. The water ski and wakeboard centre in Aurich-Tannenhausen is popular with young and old alike.

Sea enthusiasts will enjoy the seal centre in the National Park House in Norden or on trips to the islands (e.g. Spiekeroog) with the fishing boat (e.g. Gorch Fock).

The Holtriemer Land or the "green pearl in front of the North Sea beach" also impresses with the typical East Frisian landscape, wide green meadows and fields - or you can relax in the comfort of your own garden.

Familienweihnachten

In den Weihnachtsferien waren wir mit zehn Personen und Hund für zwei Wochen in der charmanten Villa. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und bietet viel Platz. Der Kontakt sowohl mit dem Vermieter als auch mit der Hausverwalterin hat super funktioniert, sie waren jederzeit ansprechbar bzw. vor Ort. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Familienurlaub an der Nordsee

Wir sind mit 12 Personen angereist (Familie - drei Generationen) und waren schon beim Eintritt ins Haus begeistert - ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit so viel Charme und Ambiente. Wir hatten sehr viel Platz mit den vielen Zimmern, dem schönen, großen Garten - die Kinder zum Spielen, aber auch, um sich einfach einmal zurückzuziehen.Da machen Regentage gar nichts aus. Die gehobene Ausstattung der Küche war einfach super. Das Meer ist nicht weit und auch die Inseln sind gut zu erreichen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns wohlgefühlt, nicht zuletzt durch den freundlichen Kontakt mit dem Vermieter und Personen vor Ort. Sehr zu empfehlen!

3 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder genossen 7 Tage in einem wunderschönen Haus. Das Wetter zeigte die ganze Palette des Oktobers, vom sonnig und warm bis regnerisch und kalt. Besonders das Versteckspielen in dem großen Haus war ein Highlight. Das Esszimmer hatte einen sehr großen Tisch, an dem wir reichlich Platz für die Mahnzeiten und auch zum Spielen fanden.

Familienurlaub

Die Villa war toll ausgestattet, hatte ausreichend Platz, einen sehr schönen Garten und Innenhof. Wir waren mit 4 Generationen dort, haben uns alle wohl gefühlt und eine gute Zeit verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit der Hausverwalterin so wie der Besitzerfamilie war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Für Familientreffen ist die Villa sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank!

Hochzeit im kleinen Kreis

Das Haus war einfach super! Sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlte an nichts und der Kontakt war auch einfach klasse! Wir würden in Zukunft das Haus wieder buchen wollen.
