The Mulberry House Matagorda

Guests have use of the entire home. Feel free to park in the grass to the right of the house, or in front on the street.

There is a full-size washer and dryer in the utility room. The kitchen is fully outfitted to make all your meals. There are both a Keurig coffee maker and a standard coffee maker.

There are two queen beds, two twin beds and a hideaway twin. Extra linens are in the armoire in the front bedroom.

There is a one full bathroom with a stand-up shower. Please note: the bathtub is ornamental.

The dining room is in the center of the house, off the kitchen. There are lots of board games in the coffee hutch.

There is an Amazon Firestick connected to the TV and WiFi access.

The location was good, house it older but the space was prefect for us, reminded me of my grandparents home which I loved. The owner was excellent at communication, that's hard to come by when rent out a house. Can fit a lager family and any dogs as well, located right near Stanleys Gas Station which was very convenient for us. Would be glad to rent again.

Great Spot!

This rental was wonderful for our family. We stayed for a month while in the process of moving and the owner was fantastic about checking in with us and fixing any issues. The area was fun to explore. I highly recommend this rental.

This home was perfect for our family! There was plenty of room for the boat and extra parking! The house was spacious and comfortable for everyone. The single bath was also spacious, so we had plenty of room getting cleaned up from a day of beachin’.

Cozy Mulberry House

Despite the weather in Matagorda last weekend, we enjoyed the Mulberry House. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The location is great- close to stores, marina and the Mexican restaurant. We felt completely safe in the neighborhood. We were able to leave our boat in the yard. The owner was very good and prompt with communication. We will definitely be staying here again.

Friendliest Little House in Matagorda

This house was PERFECT for us! The house was clean, had all necessary items for cooking (including charcoal grill), was decorated in a beachy vibe, and displayed art from local artists that you could purchase. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body gel, toilet paper, and a hair dryer. Our kids LOVED the stuffed animals, puzzles, and board games- and thought the throw blankets were the softest they had ever felt. I would recommend this vacation home to everyone wanting a kid and family friendly beachy vibe stay in Matagorda.

Great location

Meylinda was great! She was very helpful and kind and allowed a late check out for our 2nd day of fishing! The location was perfect for our trips. The only thing we did was sleep and shower at the house - no cooking, etc. It had just rained when we got there, so saw some bugs and the grass was tall so the mosquitoes were out in force. I think the house needs a good extermination but again - hard to tell because of the rain. It would be great if it had a fenced yard. Overall for our needs it was fine. Meylinda was truly wonderful!
