Pure relaxation on 90 m² San Vigilio di Marebbe - the Dolomites within reach San Vigilio di Marebbe - or "Mareo", as the locals call it - is the northernmost municipality in Val Badia. It is made up of the villages of Pfarre, Welschellen, Zwischenwasser and the picturesque main town of St. Vigil at the foot of the Dolomites. Almost 1,300 inhabitants live in this picturesque mountain village at 1,200 metres above sea level. Ladin, an ancient Rhaeto-Romanic language, is spoken here - as everywhere in Val Badia - so tradition and modernity go hand in hand in San Vigilio, with traditional farms and modern infrastructure. And all this in the midst of a magnificent natural landscape, which is linked to the village by countless hiking trails. Almost 11,000 hectares of the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park lie within the municipal area of Enneberg. The imposing Dolomite giants characterise the landscape. UNESCO rightly declared this magnificent mountain world a World Heritage Site in 2009, making San Vigilio di Marebbe the perfect place for nature lovers to get away from it all at any time of year. In summer for hiking, in winter for skiing on Kronplatz, one of the best ski areas in Europe, which can be reached directly from St. Vigil by lift.

Outside you have a private recreation garden of about 30 m² at your disposal.

The 90 square metre flat has two cosy bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The large living and dining area not only invites you to linger after dinner, but you can also end eventful days there on the cosy couch with satellite TV. A modern electric cooker is available for cooking. There is also a fridge, kitchen utensils and crockery. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available for your private laundry.

Dolomites - breathtaking mountain world above San Vigilio di Marebbe In 2009, UNESCO declared the Dolomites a World Heritage Site - the world's highest recognition for a natural site. One of the designated Dolomite areas is the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park, most of which is located in the municipality of Marebbe, and can be reached from San Vigilio in just a few minutes. The main town of Enneberg is also home to the Nature Park House, where visitors can find fascinating information on the formation of the Dolomites, fossils, Alpine pastures and the Conturines cave bears. From San Vigilio di Marebbe, the legendary mountain world of the Dolomites is close enough to touch - and what's more, you are right in the middle of it. The striking peaks tower proudly over the picturesque village. An excursion is always worthwhile, as nature is under special protection here. This is proven not least by the intact flora and fauna that can still be observed here. Healthy nature, pure air ... Everyone should take a deep breath and a beautiful memory home with them.

Perfect place

This is an A++++ place! Just wow! The decor and supplies on hand were great! The shower….never had a better one! The hosts were so accommodating and pleasant! The only complaint was the communication to find the place was confusing but we eventually figured it out so all was good. I cannot recommend this place enough! Also the location was perfect to get to town and hiking the Dolomites.
