Dine on the lanai while mesmerized by the waves and beautiful tropical setting. A perfect place to relax and unwind, this condo has a beautiful view of the ocean from the lanai. With tropical garden views and the sound of the waves in the background, relax and enjoy every minute of your vacation.

Remodelled a couple of years ago and recently many more upgrades added, this condo is tastefully decorated in contemporary, but still Hawaiian style. The kitchen has a large eating bar, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and fully stocked with everything but your groceries. A large dining table with lots of seating. The master bedroom having a Queen bed and the second bedroom having a twin over Queen bunk bed makes it perfect for families or two couples. Also, a Queen pull-out sofa sleeper in the living room makes the unit able to sleep up to 6 persons. The bathroom has a tub/shower and granite countertops. Large TV, cable, DVD player, free wifi, air conditioner. Stocked with beach towels, beach chairs and coolers for your use, this condo has all the comforts you feel at home with ultimate vacation luxury also.

The tiled lanai has lounging chairs, a patio table and chairs. A perfect place to put your feet, relax and enjoy the peacefulness. Take forty steps to the right and you are oceanfront. There is a wonderfully warm gathering place at the oceanfront to visit and watch the whales and sunsets. Steps into the ocean make it easy to swim and snorkel in the reefs right out front. Soft sandy beach right out front when the tide is low. Approximately 60 steps in the other direction you are at the pool. Lounge chairs surround the pool and a BBQ, ice machine and covered seating area to one side for relaxing, outdoor eating, and visiting.

3 BBQ areas are on the property and a coin (or app) operated laundry is only a few steps from the door. Large grass areas for the kids to play, this property is family friendly, yet still very peaceful and quiet.

Within walking distance is a grocery store, natural food store, farmers market, coffee shops, restaurants, spa, shops and much more. Beaches to the north and south. Golf courses close by. A beautiful walking/jogging pathway through the Ka'anapali area has fabulous scenery for miles. We love to go for a beautiful long walk every morning! Whalers Village is near by with lots of shops, restaurant/bars, and lovely beach. Only a 10 minute drive is our favourite town, Lahaina. It is such a lovely historic town with lots to see and do. It seems to come alive at night and you absolutely must visit Lahaina.

Great stay!

My spouse, 5 year old and in laws stayed here for almost 3 weeks and all of us absolutely loved it. Great location and very quiet. Close to ABC store and walking distance to many other things. Condo was spacious and clean and well stocked with everything you could need! We would absolutely stay here again anytime.

First trip to Maui

All of the basics were provided and we had a wonderful stay. The location is central to shops, beaches and food. We were able to watch the sunset daily each evening hear the waves as we fell asleep. The beach supplies available at the condo were in good shape, the pool was basic and the entire facility was family friendly.

Diane’s condo was spectacular! Some things that stood out: -ocean view from patio -great pool/grills -sand toys, cooler, beach chair -great condiments and spices -large grassy area for kids to play -pack n play -very clean -great dvd selection for kids and adults -very easy to contact Diane We hope to come back and stay here again!!!!

Property was fantastic with a great ocean view. Minutes from the Ka’anapali boardwalk to multiple other beaches. Lots of amenities in the condo! Diane is a great host and gets back in a timely manner!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Maui Sands! The condo is beautifully furnished and well equipped with everything you can possibly need from household items to beach gear. We enjoyed the view of the ocean from our private lanai and loved going to sleep to the sounds of the waves at night. The owner Diane and the property manager Dan is very responsive and helpfull with any questions you may have. We highly recommend this condo for anyone wanting a nice, relaxing accommodation while in beautiful Maui.

Amazing Condo, Great Location!!

As the title says, this condo is absolutely amazing, in a great location, and the owner (Diane) is a pleasure to deal with. First of all, the condo is very well stocked with everything me and my family needed, including all the beach toys and essentials we thought we were going to need to rent, so that was a pleasant surprise. The condo is also nicely updated, with a perfect ground floor location for easy access to pool, BBQ's, and common areas. The location of Maui Sands is also ideal, being within walking distance to everything you need, including grocery store, coffee shop, fish market, and the beach boardwalk which runs in front of the Kaanapali Beach Resorts. It's also a short drive to Lahaina's Front Street, and Whalers Village, while Kapalua was also a short drive in the opposite direction. We will definitely be returning to this unit in Maui Sands for our next Hawaii vacation!!! Merry Christmas!! The Seider's

Family of 5 In Maui

We stayed in the condo with 3 boys ages 17,14, 11 and the 2 bedroom condo was a little squishy but it worked well. We used the condo to sleep and enjoyed the pool and the ocean 100 feet away . The patio was nice . The bbq was very close laundry very close and we could see sea turtle and other ocean animals . It was a little rocky and there is not a lot of sand right there . But a short walk either direction gave you lots of sand beaches . We enjoyed the closeness of the food trucks and many other food options with in walking distance . Lahaina is where we spent most our time and the wharf which was very close . Staying here gave us the BEST sunset views and great memories .

Great location!

The Condo was as great as described and we spent a wonderful week. Especially sitting on the terrace with sea view was amazing. You could see the sunset from terrace which we enjoyed every evening and completed our holiday feeling. A quick swim in the morning to wake up was less than a minute walk. It was very useful to have insider information about the area and the island which was provided in a book onsite. You find everything, beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment and much more. Also supermarket, restaurants and shops are in walking distance around the corner. Everything was explained and the booking went very smoothly. Very kind owners. Thank you for everything, we can definitely recommend this location.

Maui relaxation

We had a nice relaxing week in Diane’s condo in Maui Sands which is located just north of Kaanapali. All the amenities we needed were available, the condo is comfortable, clean and the lanai is just 30 yards from the break wall where the beautiful pacific meets land. If the tide is out, the steps take you to the beach, if the tide is in the waves break upon the steps. By car Baby beach in Lahaina is just 10 minutes south and beautiful Napili beach is just 10 minutes north. Many restaurants, food trucks and a grocery store are within walking distance of the condo. The condo does not have washer/dryer but the onsite laundry machines are readily available.

Just what we needed!

This placed worked great for our needs. Owner was great at communicating. The ocean was right there! Kitchen was well stocked as well as condo with everything you need from pans to coffee to towels to beach chairs.

Excellent Stay

This property was a perfect rental. Diane was very responsive and flexible with allowing us to have a late check out due to our late flight. The home comes stocked with what other renters have left behind which was super convenient. There were things that you would not find in a hotel rental like beach towels, beach chairs, first aid kit, snorkel gear, sunscreen, kitchen necessities (salt, vinegar, olive oil, coffee etc). We were skeptical when we first arrived because the outside appears outdated but once we entered the home we were very pleased. It felt like a home and not your typical 15x15 hotel room. The home is steps away from the beach access so each morning we were up bright and early drinking coffee on the beach. We had a great experience with this home and would definitely rent again.

Amazing Vacation

Our trip to Maui was our first vacation since the start of COVID. We were very nervous about traveling, booking accommodations, and about the state of the island upon arrival. Diane was amazing to work with from my first inquiry all the way to check out. She was very responsive and helpful in answering all of our questions as well as addressing the "unknowns" and "what if's". The condo was comfortable, clean, well stocked and it felt like home. We loved the layout of the condo, the location of the unit, the outdoor toys, and all of the board games! It was a wonderful vacation and we will definitely be renting this condo again. Thank you!

Great condo

Great condo, perfect size for our family of 4. Loved having beach accessories available to us (chairs, beach towels, beach toys, boogie boards, etc.). Back rooms do not have window AC which would have been nice, but we set up several fans to help circulate cool air from living room. Very clean room and safe area. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome Condo

The location and accommodation for our family of 4 (2 adults & 2 pre-teens) was perfect. Access to the water and small beach was great. We had several other families with condos in the same complex which made the trip fun. Everything in the condo was great, furniture, kitchen supplies, etc. We cooked meals and made great use of facilities & pool. The AC is a wall unit so we used fans to cool off bedrooms, so most nights we slept in a wind tunnel, but typical of condos. Working with Diane (Owner) was very easy. No issues other than construction to sea wall but we hardly hear any noise. It did block some of our view but having been informed in advance was great and easy to work around. The assigned Parking space was on the opposite side of the building, so loading was an inconvenience but manageable. Their are shops and restaurants within walking distance, as well as Taco trucks. Great time and would return

Perfect for our group

From our initial online booking, Diane was professional and quick to respond. She answered all our questions and was informative about all parts of her rental. The checkin process was painless and everything was ready for our arrival. I appreciate how the sofa bed was already out and ready as we arrived late. The unit has a wonderful "small town" feel. We used the pool and the reef directly in front of the unit was a great place to snorkel for those in our group snorkelling for the first time. The sunsets were gorgeous (especially the one with the whale breaching on the horizon), and the ability to grab something from the unit 50 feet away and not miss the sunset was great. The geckos made great photo subjects and the grounds were kept beautifully. The unit was clean and very well organized with lots of useable extras like boogie boards and even a hand vac to get some of the sand out of our rental van. The kids loved making virgin pina coladas and coffee on the lanai was a great way to start the day. Diane's willingness for us to have a late check out makes me wish there was a sixth star.

We purchase this condo in 2010, did a huge renovation and then kept it for our family vacations, loving it each and every time we get a opportunity to be there. We recently decided to let others share what we love so much and listed our condo on VRBO.

We chose this property at Maui Sands because it feels comfortable and luxurious at the same time without that commercial stuffiness. The area looks and feels Hawaiian. Tropical flowers, gardens, palm trees, gentle breezes, ocean air, sounds of the waves...everything is so lovely, just how you'd expect Hawaii to be.

What makes this property unique

I love the sound of the waves at night and my favourite place is sitting on the lanai watching the ocean!
