The Iltarusko holiday house is on the outskirts of Rauhala in an absolutely secluded location, with the nearest neighbour 1km away, quiet and dreamy in the forest. Rauhala is between the ski resorts Levi, Ylläs, Pallas and Olos, amidst the forests of Lapland, easily accessible from the airport at Kittilä.

The ground floor has a living room with a sofa bed and an adjoining kitchen space, a bedroom with a double bed and big built-in cupboard, a bathroom, a separate toilet incl. bidet and sauna, and a sizeable entrance area where you can keep outdoor clothing. It also has a washing machine. The living room has a soapstone fireplace, a TV, a DVD player, Internet radio and a small selection of books and DVDs. The kitchen with a dining corner for 5 people is equipped with all the essentials, from crockery and cutlery to a stove and dishwasher. The upper floor (sleeping gallery) consists of a sleeping area for two people with two single beds and a beautiful view of nature.

Our two terraces with garden furniture invite you to relax. A charcoal grill is available for grill evenings. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the holiday house, also for a campervan. In the left part of the annex there is a stock of firewood for the fireplace.

Please note that the house is accessed along a road (ca.1km) that is not asphalted, but is cleared regularly in winter, even right by the house as far as possible. A sledge is available free of charge in winter, while ice skates can be hired for a fee. In summer and autumn two bicycles are available for use. Free Wi-Fi is available.

It is 300 metres to the very clean lake Jerisjrvi with a wealth of fish, inviting you to go fishing or swimming in summer or ice hole fishing and cross-country skiing or snow shoe tours in winter. The surrounding forests and mountains are suitable for hiking, as well as gathering berries and mushrooms.
