overall was a nice place to stay, check in was easy, clear information, exactly as expected from the advertisement, would consider staying again in the future
Absolutely perfect place for our family of 4. Close to everything. Host was amazing and checked in with us to make sure we were all settled in. Would recommend to anyone going to Sault Ste. Marie.
The location is in a quite neighborhood and property is well kept, has all required amenities but more importantly you can adjust the thermostat to your requirement which I loved. The hosts were very quick to help when we contacted them and sent out detailed instructions for easy check in and check out. Loved the place and would definitely stay here again whenever I travel to the Soo.

The property met our expectations based on the description provided online. Communication with hosts was easy - quick response times, and clear instructions for check in/check out process.
We stayed at Gerda’s for a night on a very long family road trip. The place was very clean and super comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back!
Great location in a very quiet neighbourhood. House is spacious, well furnished and equipped. Really appreciated the air conditioning, backyard and patio, and having in suite laundry facilities. Easy check-in and good communications with host.
Was a perfect place to stay while going to trade school. Clean well kept house. Great host's that were willing to help out with anything we needed during our 10 week stay. Would stay here again!
The property was perfect for 2 couples visiting the Soo. Everything we needed and a convenient location.

It was beautiful inside and the property was beautiful the fire pit was so cute and the yard was well kept. There was a weird smell that was not great in side, had to keep all the windows open… but other then that it was nice!
This property was great value. Cozy and clean. Short drive to the river front and attractions. Host was responsive and willing to help us if needed, but everything was set up so well we didn’t have any issues.

The house had all the emenities needed in kitchen and elsewhere. We did not use the laundry area but they were available,
The only drawback for us was the bathroom being downstairs while the bedrooms were upstairs, since my wife has mobility issues.
Comfortable home and beds. Bathroom located on main level. Upper level bedrooms may get warm during hot weather. Fans are provided. Timely responses provided by host.
We rented this house to be our base camp for a weekend trip to visit LSSU. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The house is in a modest neighborhood conveniently close to the bridge. I thought the price-point was fair and I would rent this house again.
My husband stayed here with his coworker while they were working out of town here at the steal mill and it was perfect location. They said had everything they needed. Only thing they said if they had to add something it would be a coffee maker to the place but overall it was a great place.
Our family was on a multi-day camping trip and needed a night to refuel, rest up, and explore the city. The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood with a private back yard. The house is just what we needed- no frills, but updated and tastefully decorated. Communication with the owners was easy, and it was just what our family of four needed - a respite!

Great Communications, Poor Accommodations
Communication with the owners was great, however the property was a real disappointment. We had booked 2 nights & after arriving very late decided to stay only one night - the second night, we booked a hotel room.
Stayed 2 nights after moving out of our house in the Soo. Rental is near Algoma steel and has everything you might need nearby. The house is cute, very clean and in a quiet area. It has everything you need for a short or long stay, including a washer dryer. There’s good closet space. Beds were comfortable. There’s no air conditioning although that’s not usually a problem in northern Ontario.
There are a few wonky DIY problems. The fridge door can’t open all the way because its been put in right up against the wall. The stairs to the upper level are not of an even height making it tricky to step.
All in all, a very nice stay. I would definitely recommend it.
