This was our second time staying at Sticks in the Sand, and I'm so glad we did. You can't ask for a better view. The private beach gave us plenty of room instead of being overcrowded on the public beaches. We were close to restaurants and shopping. 10/10 for my family.

Great place for a vacation

We had a great time and the place was perfect for our family. The location was perfect... a very short walk to the beach and not nearly as crowded as the public beaches 2 blocks away. We're already making plans to come back!

Right on the beach

We had a very nice stay. Our family loved being just steps from the sand. Even though it was spring break it was not crowded felt very private. The townhome was a bit dated but had what we needed and the owner was easy to get in touch with. We were able to walk to several olaces for breakfast and dinner which was nice.

The location of this property is exceptional — truly beachfront, right on the sand on a private beach. That alone carries much of the experience and is hard to beat.That said, future guests should be aware that the unit is quite worn and would benefit from a deep cleaning and overall refreshing. While it appeared that surface cleaning had been done, the space did not feel truly clean, and many furnishings and fixtures show significant age and wear, which impacted our comfort.The host was very responsive, which we appreciated, and there are positives such as working TVs/service, good internet, a grill, and parking (tight, but known in advance). With attention to maintenance, replacement of worn-out items, and a higher standard of cleanliness, this property could be wonderful. As it stands, the condition of the unit was well below expectations, particularly when compared to the photos provided in the listing, though the location itself is outstanding.
