We stayed at Sunchase3A and as far as everything beach related, I give it a 10/10. Steps away from the sand, on your own private beach with a storage unit FULL of everything you could ever need.The unit itself needs some attention. The little dishes that were provided (4 coffee mugs and about 6 forks) were dirty. The dishwasher wasn't running its full cycle, so I think the housekeepers unloaded dirty dishes. The dishwasher ultimately quit working all together, so we resorted to disposable dishes and lots of handwashing. The fabric chairs and drapes have stains on them, giving a sense of uncleanliness.Lastly, the second bedroom is street side, and people would be out cruising, honking, yelling and hanging out at the gas station till wee hours of the morning. Not much you can do about it, but worth noting.

We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced with the kitchenware and dishwasher. Having to rely on disposable dishes and handwashing during your stay was certainly frustrating and not the experience we want for our guests. We’ll make sure the dishwasher issue is addressed and will also follow up with our cleaning team regarding the dishes, stained chairs, and drapes. We also appreciate you mentioning the street noise. Unfortunately, that is outside of our control, but we understand how disruptive it can be, especially late at night, and appreciate you noting it for future guests. Thank you again for your honest feedback. We’re glad the beach experience was a 10/10, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back after we’ve addressed these concerns.

This was our second time staying at Sticks in the Sand, and I'm so glad we did. You can't ask for a better view. The private beach gave us plenty of room instead of being overcrowded on the public beaches. We were close to restaurants and shopping. 10/10 for my family.

Great place for a vacation

We had a great time and the place was perfect for our family. The location was perfect... a very short walk to the beach and not nearly as crowded as the public beaches 2 blocks away. We're already making plans to come back!
