Fontainebleau and its magnificent castle are only 14 km away and easily accessible by car or bike. Golf enthusiasts will be delighted by the 18-hole course at Golf de Fontainebleau. The castles of Vaux-le-Vicomte (9 km), Blandy-les-Tours (15 km) and Courances (26 km) as well as the National Gendarmerie Museum in Melun (6 km) are also worth a visit. The Seine-Ecole leisure centre in Saint-Fargeau-Ponthierry (14 km), which is open all year round, is located in a 25-hectare nature reserve and has three bodies of water along the Seine. With its marina, its health trail, its picnic areas with barbecue facilities and its games for children, it will delight the whole family. You can go fishing, pony riding, wakeboarding or simply walk around on a reserved stretch of water. For an outing that will delight young and old alike, the famous Disneyland Paris theme park (50 km) is less than an hour's drive away. The geographical location is ideal for visiting the capital, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris with ease. For those who prefer public transport, which is less than a 15-minute walk from the holiday accommodation, you can take the train (Transilien R) which connects Livry-sur-Seine station to the "Gare de Lyon" station in Paris in 45 minutes. With many sights and activities waiting for you nearby, you are sure to find your happiness.
