We had a good stay and would rate this 5 stars overall, especially considering the value and the owner’s friendliness. This seems like a newer listing, and we appreciated the effort to make it welcoming. The home is a unique, older property, that’s been renovated with a bit of a DIY feel-nice overall but a little rough around the edges. It’s on a busy street and part of a subdivided lot with several vacant parcels nearby, so the setting is a bit unconventional and could involve future construction. Worth confirming if that matters to you.Layout worked well for our group (3 teens each had their own room), but note that two bedrooms are upstairs via steep stairs and share a very minimally private half-bath-best for close family or kids. The main bathroom and tub/shower setup may also be challenging for those with mobility concerns.Kitchen is functional with plenty of supplies, though items are mismatched and shared (open spices, dressings, coffee, etc.), which some guests may love and others may not. We appreciated the extras, like plenty of phone chargers. Hot tub is small (2 people max).A welcome binder and clearer check-in info would help, and we did run into a few minor cleanliness/communication hiccups.Overall, a solid, affordable option in a convenient location-great for casual groups, less ideal for those seeking a polished or traditional stay.
