Nice house. AC and fans work well. The wake up call from the donkey and roosters is real. Search surfers cove in google maps to help with directions to the house.
This was my fourth time staying at your property! So clean, so cute, so spacious and an amazing location! Especially loved the sweet donkeys next door. Hope to be back again soon :)
We enjoyed the use of the house and our stay in April. It’s close to the beaches and it allowed us to have a relaxing place to hang out after our travels. I recommend if you’re using GPS to use Google maps. It’s definitely the most reliable.
Great big space, clean, great style with all the tiles, great quiet natural location. Easy and prompt communication with Steven and Noami, can’t wait to return!!!!
We had an amazing time. Place was clean, modern and with everything we expected. We also enjoyed having our traveler companion Lola our 10 pound Morkie dog. A beautiful retreat, close to beaches, restaurants and shopping.
Check in was smooth and easy. An A+ place.
Love it! Clean, private, spacious. The owner and the person of contact both were helpful and both were available within minutes to answer our questions.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in, listing accuracy
In a better time, I am sure this place would have been just as described. We weren't told that the home wasnt ready at 4pm as stated. We arrived by 530pm exhausted and wet from the beach. The maps provided to us by the host would not lead us to the home. We got there by 6pm only to find the "cleaning crew" still working. If this was communicated to us, all 8 of us would not have been caught off guard and having to leave the home again to find somewhere to be at until they were done. With all mix the up, we never noticed the home or facility being worked on across until we were woken up at 650am by a cement truck horn. By 7am, it became a full-blown construction site. Not the best vacation idea we had in mind. The host was nice enough to offer 100 to be divided amoung two families. But in hindsight, the inconvenience that we were all put through, 50 refund for two family was insulting. The "relaxation" should be removed from caption. The host does not know when the construction site is worked on so it will be anyones gamble. Positive note: the place was indeed lovely. We would have appreciated a courtesy call so that we would have known the house was not ready until 2-3 hours after check-in time... and be warned of construction site across (enclosed).
A very clean, modern house and property. With three bedrooms and bathroooms, it allows a family to all be comfortable and relax. This is a great spot, nestled in the hills near Sandy beach.
The covered carport with gas grill and outdoor table makes is easy to be outside to eat or just hangout. The yard is nicely landscaped and made it a relaxing place to be in the morning or early evenings.
The kitchen has everything you need (appliances, glasses, dishware utensils, etc.) and a variety of other things you may need. The washer and dryer are always appreciated when you are away for a week or more as it cuts down on how much you need to bring.
The location is close to everything in the area. Great for families or couples who may be vacationing together.
Steven is great to work with and is very quick to respond. A great stay.
Spacious house, great location, some room for improvement
The house was plenty big for 6 adults and close to town/beaches. The house was generally comfortable and the a/c was great. A few drawbacks: The road to the house is in pretty rough shape. The dishwasher was tiny and only the dishes on the bottom got clean. Upstairs hallway bathroom sink didn't drain. There were no beach towels - the host kindly dropped some off but by then it was too late for us. There was a nice backyard, but no outdoor furniture. Small things that hopefully will get fixed for the next guest!

Rincon Getaway
We rented Surfer's cove for a weekend getaway with friends and family and loved the home. For starters, the house is in a great location and very close to the beach and restaurants. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking supplies and new appliances. The beds in the bedrooms are super comfortable. In fact, some of us had a hard time getting out of bed because they were so cozy. The wi-fi and cable in the house were added pluses for downtime after a long day at the beach. Although the house has A/C I wish the windows had screens so that we could have kept the windows open while we were in the house. We tried to do this in the mornings before heading out but there were a lot of bugs getting into the house. The other draw back was poor cell phone reception inside the house. Then again when you're on vacation you don't really need to be too attached to your phone. All in all, the house is lovely and I would definitely consider it again for a future trip.

Wonderful stay at Surfer's Cove
Family of 5 (Mom, Dad, and children aged 12, 9, and 7) stayed there in late August 2014. Loved the house and the location in Rincon. Pictures online are very accurate and complete.
House had all we needed for a weeklong stay. Used the kitchen as well as the grill, and when we went out to eat, did not have to go far as the restaurants in Rincon were all very good. Had breakfast at Das Alpen Cafe in town, lunch at La Papa at roadside spot on 115, lunch at Tamboo and at Kabana both on Sandy Beach, dinner at Red Flamboyan and at Villa Montana. All great selections.
Spend most days at Sandy Beach, very close to to house. The waves were big enough for the kids to enjoy and small enough for us not to worry too much. Great dining spots all around Sandy Beach. Also did Crash Boat beach which we would recommend.
As mentioned in another review, wish there were screens that would have allowed us to keep the windows open and enjoy the trade winds while indoors-but all-in-all would return to Rincon and would stay in the house again. Steven and Lysvenette were very responsive to any communications that we sent and were great to deal with throughout the booking process.
Favorite house activity was sitting on the patio/carport with an afternoon drink watching the cows and horses graze on the adjoining property.
We did like everything the only thing it was the AC on the master bedroom is not that powerful as the other ones in the house is was a bit hot but other then that we really love it everything was clean the location just were I wanted.
Went to Rincon for a family event and was super pleased with our rental...Lots of space to spread out, it's on a cul-de-sac and very quiet (aside from the occasional rooster crows and donkey braying) and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!
The Property was clean and well cared for. Two very minor things that I'd suggest .
1. Place a sign on the Light pole on the top of the hill where you need to turn right before descending downhill. We found it with a bit of luck LOL.
2. The upstairs King Room shower and sink Hot and Cold water connections are reversed. If you want a hot shower then you need to turn it to the cold side. This is an easy fix . Just reverse the lines. :)
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we loved the mules next door!! Made us laugh so much!! Thank you for a pleasant stay!!
Excelente, con todas las facilidades necesarias y de emergencia ( se fue la electricidad) pero la casa está preparada con planta eléctrica automática, muy cómoda , limpia y espaciosa, definitivamente volveremos con la familia
Our stay in Rincon was great. The house is modern with all the amenities including AC throughout the whole house. At night you can hear the waves crashing and the coquis singing. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Please tell your brother thanks for the Passion fruit.
The house was very clean and spacious, and it has a nice backyard. It was minutes away from restaurants and beaches.

About the host
Hosted by Steven Robles
We love the ocean, the outdoors, and spending time with family. Although we currently live in the US mainland, we were born and raised in Rincon, Puerto Rico. We built this house in order to spend time with our children and keep our connection to the ocean, the Puerto Rican culture, and to give our children the opportunity to experience all the things we cherish from our beloved Rincon. We want to make sure that your experience is one that would last a lifetime!
Why they chose this property
You’ll know you’ve arrived in Rincón when you pass the group of sun-grizzled surfers cruising west in their rusty Volkswagen Beetles with surfboards piled on the roof. Located in the west corner of Puerto Rico, Rincón is at its most unguarded, a place where the sunsets shimmer scarlet and you’re more likely to be called “dude than “sir.” Rincón is the surfing capital of Puerto Rico, often called the “Hawaii of the Caribbean” and one of the premier places to catch a wave in the entire western hemisphere.
What makes this property unique
Though Rincón is crawling with American expats (many of them residents), the tourist/local divide is more seamless and less exclusive than in the resorts out east. Our house offers a unique blend between mainland mainstream and Puerto Rican flavor. Private, quiet, and secluded, our house offers the perfect combination between Rincón’s buzzing lifestyle and complete serenity.
