Suite was ideal location to tour the area. We enjoyed seafood from Neptune Seafood and enjoyed it from the couch with adjustable tabletop. The hot tub was a nice treat in the morning or evening and we had a long visit from a hummingbird. Thank you!
It just so happened that this year our 29th anniversary fell on Easter weekend. Had a wonderful stay at Anchors Inn on the west coast of the Island, enjoyed Ucluelet and the BEACHES!!
I stayed here for a little solo getaway and the suite was the perfect affordable option. Close droving distance to the trailheads and exciting storm watching.
A great view from the unit with a nice gas fire place to keep us cozy on the cool evenings. Nice comfy bed and linens.
Can walk to other areas and well located. Would like to return again in summer.
Wonderful to hear sea lions everyday and see a couple of eagles up on a tree from the hot tub. So peaceful and relaxing to stay at this suite. Highly recommended!
Everything was wonderful & we would definitely go back.Marilyn, Lance, Rocky, Luna & Zeus were all very welcoming & the suite comes with everything you'd need.Little touches like breakfast items such as English muffins, jams, jellies, butter, juice, coffee, creamers, tea, sugar etc.Easy access to all the beaches, Wild Pacific Trails around Ucluelet & within walking distance to the villageThe only thing to know, is this suite has 2 other rental cottages on the property in close proximity (in front & on both sides), which the listing does not indicate. Meaning you’ll see people walking by. Although, you still have a fair amount of privacy unless you’re actually sitting on the deck but don’t let that deter you. It’s a great place to call home
Really enjoyed our time at Anchors Inn . Well appointed and comfortable suite close to town centre with very welcoming hosts. Perfect place to chill and explore the area.

About the host
Hosted by Marilyn McEwen & Lance Blackwell
We moved here to Ucluelet from Vancouver in 1997, and added the one-bedroom suite in 2007.
Why they chose this property
We loved the idea of a waterfront property, having lived on a floathome in Vancouver for 11 years prior to moving here. The half acre property allows us to maintain privacy for ourselves & our guests. The West Coast of Vancouver Island has a rugged beauty that is unmatched anywhere else in B.C.
What makes this property unique
There is always something to watch on the waterfront -- fishboats coming & going, sea lions frolicking, bald eagles fishing, kayakers meandering by.
