Your own private island in Poulsbo, Washington.
Want to get away and unplug with family or friends? Kids spending too much time on personal devices and need to get back to nature? Want to plan a romantic getaway for your significant other and surprise them with a private island? This is the place to put the outside world on hold and relax.
Grilling out, nightly campfires, kayaking on Island Lake...all the fun of camping with the comforts of a home.
Situated in the middle of peaceful Island Lake in Poulsbo, Washington sits the beautifully updated and modern Island Lake Cabin. Featuring new amenities such as gas fireplace, comfortable and elegant furnishings, custom lighting, new appliances and decor, this multi-level 3 bedroom home has all you need for your getaway. The great outdoors is at your fingertips as you step out to the brand new large deck with water view.
Kids will enjoy the cozy club house including 2 twin and one full beds and games. There is not a bathroom or water service to the club house, it is just a hang out spot similar to a well done tree house. Clubhouse is perfect for kids sleeping space. There are no facilities in the Clubhouse and guests will need to walk to main house to use the facilities.
There is so much to see and explore on and around Island Lake. Kayaks are for guest use at their own risk. Be sure to check local health department and parks and rec websites for updated information on lake water quality. PLEASE NOTE: All guests will be required to acknowledge and sign a watercraft, water ferry/raft, dock and lake usage waiver upon arrival.
Wildlife abounds around the island including eagles, owls, ducks, turtles and plenty of fishing. Bring your binoculars and fishing poles.
Watch the sunset while starting the fire at the fire pit and enjoy s`mores while searching the night sky for constellations. Bring your own firewood, we`ll cover the goodies!
Come stay on the island and get away from it all!
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire island during their stay.
Parking for maximum 3 cars on mainland vacant lot on Lake Avenue. Guests can access the island via private tethered ferry (with electric motors) from parking lot to the island via raft/ferry.
Guests have access to entire home with the exception of private storage/utility closet.
Guests will be met by a staff member to explain raft operation and give a quick tour of the property.
Available to answer any questions via AirB&B app, email or phone.
Quiet neighborhood about 1.5 hours from Seattle Tacoma International Airport. Extensive shopping and retail services available in Silverdale, WA which is located only 2 miles away!
Travel to the island is by electric motor powered raft.
* All guests will be required to acknowledge and sign a watercraft, water ferry/raft, dock and lake usage waiver upon arrival.
Please note:
-Before submitting an inquiry, guests must have a fully verified profile with a government ID on file with AirB&B. Instructions on website.
-At this time, unfortunately we DO NOT allow pets on the island or in the house to keep it allergen free for all guests. Guests arriving with pets will be turned away and any violation of this policy will result in additional cleaning fees.
-Also, even though there are several swimming locations and water access points on the island, we accept no responsibility for monitoring the lake water quality and guests must accept their own risk for swimming and all water activities. The latest information relating to Island Lake can be found on the Kitsap Public Health website. (AirB&B does not allow me to post the website here)
-Current information regarding the fishing prospects can be found Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife website. (AirB&B does not allow me to post the website here)
-Septic violations will incur additional fees. This is a delicate system and isolated on an island. Emergency work, especially on weekends, are extremely difficult to coordinate.
