Red Rock Retreat: Hot tub, walk to creek for swimming,.

Quail Cottage is a charming, and very spacious 1 bedroom freestanding cottage, with its own secluded patio and outdoor seating with a wonderful view and a hot tub for guests exclusive use.The main living room has high ceilings, and lots of light from the large south facing windows, but is shaded in the summer from the sun, by the trees around it. The communal room boasts a full kitchen, dining table and breakfast bar overlooking the patio, has a really comfortable Queen sofa bed (sleeps 2 ) , streaming TV ( Netflix, amazon, YouTube TV), internet and beautiful faux finished walls that go throughout the cottage. The bedroom, also large with big windows, has a king bed, and a queen futon sofa bed for extra sleeping options. The cottage has a full bathroom with bath and shower, and is decorated in wonderful sea colors. The whole cottage has a beautiful Zen comfortable feel to it.
Quail cottage is situated on a 2 acre property at the end of a lane, parking is free and next to the building.
The trails for biking and hiking are right out the door, no need to drive anywhere. Mountain bikers and hikers would love this place. This is a very friendly and relaxed place, with lots of space.
We have chickens, dogs and garden, and teenagers and all the associated activity, and centrally located for Sedona and hiking biking trails. You get the best of everything here, a rural setting, surrounded by the gorgeous red rocks, hiking out the door, with all the restaurants and shops Sedona has to offer, 10 minutes away.
WE do not do month long bookings . The most we do is 10 days, sometimes two weeks- it is not suitable for longer holiday bookings, but only for short stays.

Spacious, great outdoor area as well! Comfy bed. Peaceful and close to lots but private and tucked away for evening rest. Has hot tub, but we didn’t end up using. Kitchen a plus, but we ended up eating out evenings and packing lunch for day trips. Enjoyed the stay!

Great Stay!

Cozy cottage that was perfect for a long weekend stay. The hot tub was great and clean. Check-in/check-out was a breeze. The driveway could be difficult for low-clearance vehicles, but otherwise excellent location!

My husband and I are not frequent to VRBO, this was atotally new experience and one that was very impressive.Living at 9000ft in CO, having this short trip was wellreceived.Definitely secluded and off the main drag of the city. Lovelyprivate home, super comfortable and clean.Many extra amenities in supplies, hot tub was greatand plenty of room to roam.Easy access to town restaurants and shops...couldn'thave asked for more...super great place to visit.

Relaxing & quiet

Perfect place to go for a relaxing stay. The hot tub under the stars was phenomenal! Full kitchen allowed us to save money by cooking our meals rather than eating out the whole time. We hope to stay here again in the near future.

Quiet but Close

Very quiet and secluded from traffic. It was close enough to get to anything in Sedona quickly, but could sit outside and hear nothing but the wind. Would stay again for sure.

Comfortable, great location, helpful host

Bridget was very helpful, but left us to our privacy after our introduction. The place is perfect for an affordable rental in an ideal location for hiking and accessing all the best places to eat and shop. She kept the hot tub ready for us at all times, no waiting around for it to heat up and it was very clean. Recommend!

Amazing little getaway

This little cottage was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway. Really feels like you're so far away, but only 10 minutes from great restaurants. My husband was able to mountain bike straight from the place, and me and my daughter explored the nearby hiking. Place was clean and just as described, the host was very accomodating, and we'd definitely like to visit again.

Sedona Stay

We had an excellent time. After each of our days hiking and and exploring the area we came back to a cosy place to relax. It was peaceful and quiet. The location is great; close enough to town but also secluded. Bridget was an amazing host. She was always responsive to our needs or questions. And the fresh eggs we an unexpected treat. We would definitely stay there again when we return to the area.

Really liked the secluded area.

The cottage immediately felt very homey! Fresh and clean. Everything there to make it a home away from home! Comfy bed and nice big towels! Liked the short distance from the businesses. Bridget was available and friendly but gave us complete privacy. Nice patio to enjoy the mornings. Will definitely stay again and recommend it to my family and friends.

Sedona Retreat

My husband and I found this property to be a great place to stay when in Sedona. It was roomy enough for the two of us, and our two dogs. The host provides the basic necessities and a few added extras which are always appreciated. The host is there if you need anything, and also keeps her distance if you prefer solitude. The location is outside of town, which for us was perfect. Great place to rest your weary bones after hiking the amazing trails of Sedona.

Quaint Cottage

Property looks even better in person than in pictures. Very clean! Has all the essentials there already when you check in. Bridgett is very sweet and we met her the day we checked in. Her dogs would come visit and the brown one likes belly rubs! Quick response time if you have any questions. Very quiet and peaceful! We had a great time and will be back again!

Bridget is the best of hosts. She is always willing to discuss various options for hiking, biking, or whatever your interests might be. Her cottage is very clean and comfortable, and has everything you need. For those of us interested in the beautiful sights of the Sedona area, her cottage is easy access and close to the best of them. Close to Sedona, but out of the hurry and hastle, Bridget's cottage is extremely peaceful and quiet. Her two dogs, cats, and chickens were an extra treat. Thanks for a beautiful vacation Bridget. Not so private cottage

I don’t typically write reviews especially negative ones, but I thought I should say something about our stay here. This cottage is on a property literally right next to the other house. When my two girl friends and I were hanging in the jacuzzi one night they drove right up next to the jacuzzi and parked. It was pretty awkward especially with covid. A privacy fence would be nice. Also, the roku and tv didn’t work nor did the jacuzzi. We could only stay in it for 10 minutes at a time before the temperature would drop 5-7degrees. These are smaller things but I specifically picked this place for a jacuzzi. The biggest thing to me is I messaged the owner about these things which took her over 6 hrs to get back to me. Thankfully these were not emergencies. I would say if you’re looking for a private getaway and something romantic this is probably not the right spot. It worked out for us since we were on a girls adventure trip but I was pretty disappointed on the response time and communication from the owner.

Why they chose this property

I love this property because it is kind of hidden away , and yet 5 minutes from town and a 5 minute walk to the creek. YOu have the feel of rural with trees all around the house and yard, shading the property in the summer, and the red rocks all around. The hiking and biking trails are right out the door, so convenient to access. Its bike in bike out country.

What makes this property unique

The hidden away quality of this property makes it really special. That we are so close to everything and yet so rural, makes it such a relaxing place to be. Having Oak Creek so close by is a joy, with all its incredible beauty and hiking/biking trails to Cathedral Rock amongst others. We always go swimming there in the summer months.
listening to the birds, with the red rocks all around and the pine trees, is pure heaven.!
Please note: the above rental is an accommodation within our private home and is not a'vacation home' rental. we do not do month long bookings , just short stays up to 10 days or two weeks at most .
