Welcome to Holmes Hub — a charming one-bedroom cabin with a private hot tub in Big Bear's peaceful Sugarloaf area.

Designed for two, this is the kind of place where you slow down. A cozy fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private jacuzzi under the stars — everything you need for a romantic getaway or a quiet solo reset in the mountains.



The Space:

A warm, inviting space with a cozy fireplace, comfortable seating, and a mounted Smart TV. The wood-paneled ceiling and natural light give it a true mountain cabin feel — cozy without feeling cramped.

Fully equipped with everything you need to make real meals. Perfect for cooking breakfast together or prepping snacks before a day outside.



Bedroom

One comfortable queen bed with fresh linens in a cozy room with warm wood accents and soft lighting.



Bathroom

A clean, modern full bathroom to start and end each day refreshed.



Outdoors

Private hot tub / jacuzzi — the highlight of the stay; perfect for evenings under the stars

Outdoor dining table — enjoy meals or coffee in the fresh mountain air

Propane grill — cookouts for two

Covered patio area — enjoy the outdoors rain or shine

The Neighborhood:

Holmes Hub is located in the Sugarloaf area of Big Bear — a quiet, residential mountain community just east of Big Bear Lake. Sugarloaf is known for its peaceful, tucked-away feel with tall pines, wildlife, and a slower pace. It's the kind of neighborhood where you hear birds instead of traffic. You're far enough from the bustle to truly unwind, but still a short drive to everything Big Bear has to offer.



Getting Around:

Times may change depending on the weather and traffic

Big Bear Village: ~10–15 min

Snow Summit: ~10–15 min

Bear Mountain: ~15–20 min

Big Bear Lake / marinas: ~10–15 min

Grocery stores: ~5–10 min

Alpine Slide: ~10–15 min



Other Things to Note:

Hot tub — outdoor use prohibited 10 PM–7 AM per city ordinance

Dogs welcome — up to 2 dogs allowed with a $75 pet fee per stay. No cats or other animals. Please clean up after your pets and keep them off furniture and beds.

No smoking, vaping, or candles inside the cabin

Best for 2 guests — this is an intimate cabin, not designed for groups

Mountain elevation (7,000 ft) — weather can change quickly; carry chains Nov–Apr

Trash: Big Bear does not have curbside pickup — guests take trash to local Clean Bear sites (addresses provided after booking)

Wildlife is common — keep doors closed and food stored properly

Sugarloaf is quiet — please be respectful of the peaceful neighborhood
