Located between the open Baltic Sea and the Geltinger Birk Nature Reserve, 4 holiday apartments are available in a beautiful thatched-roof house.
The Georg Asmussen House is the old school in Pommerby (1798) and the birthplace of the poet, engineer, and social reformer Georg Asmussen (1856–1933). It was used as a school until 1966. Starting in the 1970s, this house was already being used as a holiday home.
We purchased this house in 2015 and have modernised it while preserving the charm of this historic thatched-roof house. Even inside the house, thanks to the thatched roof, you can still breathe in the fresh, invigorating Baltic Sea air. Our guests will feel right at home here and take pleasant memories back with them.
The holiday apartments were completely renovated and remodeled from the ground up between 2015 and 2016. Each holiday apartment is individually and comfortably furnished and features two satellite TVs (one in the living room and one in a bedroom). The built-in kitchens, installed in 2015, are equipped with high-quality appliances.
Please note: the holiday apartments are not suitable for children under 4 years of age.
